rn im on the 13th episode and tbh something, like a lot of the netflix dramas, is missing. like something is not…
its really quite boring most of the time. like so so many filler unnecessary scenes that dont even need to be in there. his stupid assistant has way too much screen time and “jokes.” the kissing scenes are uncomfortably long and they replay them twice. the trip to thailand which lasted like two long episodes was crazy long and drawn out and made no sense since her friends already knew he liked her, so did his secretary. like who was writing this show??? clearly a few too many people who didnt get together to make the show congruent and make sense. stick to fewer writers who would know the characters they are making up.
rn im on the 13th episode and tbh something, like a lot of the netflix dramas, is missing. like something is not quite there. i like some of it, i like the characters enough but they arent that deep. and the story starts getting stupid (actually most of it is stupid but you could excuse that if the writing is good) like too much filler scenes. my sister and i just were complaining about it. My theory is netflix/american writers, & PLURAL writers…..too many people writing different stories, not checking if its congruent, if they are making well rounded deep characters, or if the plotline flows or makes sense. For instance, Attornery Woo wasnt quite congruent & even at the end the characters were written soooooo differently and weird that it didnt make sense. makes it annoying to watch. A netflix drama i surprisingly really liked was Crash Course in Romance, way cuter, loved the characters. and they actually learn about eachother and grow together. really cute . King the Land im like do they even know eachother that well ??
This season sucks tbh. bad writing. i liked season 1 a lot, loved all the characters. the bad writing and purposeful miscommunication and lame tropes are ruining it all. ruining the good characters from last season, making everyone really dumb fr
Subtitles are subtitles, the drama is set for +16. There are many gore scenes and way more than the F, better…
Not long ago movies used to be rated R if it had like more than one F word. so to them this isnt 16+. but thank u for telling me there is more and a lot of gore. is there graphic sexual scenes too?
Is there anywhere to watch this with cleaner subtitles?? watching with my parents and younger sister & they dont like the F bombs and bad words. on ep 2 now & prob have to drop it if it doesnt stop
something that is triggering for some may not be for others. with a minor spoiler (this is all made known from…
thank you. yes true different things can be triggering to different people, i figured there couldnt be a direct answer but thought id ask in case someone had something.
Is this triggering for someone who had an emotionally abusive mom growing up?? i dont want the person i watch kdramas with to get triggered and be in a bad mood
you don't like her because she's not those infantilized characters korea like to write? because she can be mean…
I dont know how a woman could like her character, you must like that she can do and say whatever she wants and be selfish and that guys will fight over her and do everything for her. what is there to like. Saying she is real…..yeah the type of real where i would hate to have her as a coworker bc she is so self centered.
you don't like her because she's not those infantilized characters korea like to write? because she can be mean…
lmaoooooo she is Not how i would describe a “strong” woman. Maybe the younger version, she was good and you know…like tried. But the adult version was annoying as hell, she wasnt strong, she was selfish & literally did not care about her clients did not help people as a lawyer, i dont know how that was “well written” to anyone. It was disturbing & weird how she flopped back and forth between polar opposite things, would lead him on then switch to not caring. She was one of those who wants the guy falling at her feet, even if she treats him and others like crap, even the face she made looking away and squinting acting as if she was better than everyone was so freaking annoying. And the way they wrote her so she didnt cook or clean or do anything so the guy can be written as another way he does everything for her & views her as perfect even tho she does nothing. (and this is coming from me, who doesnt cook. so im not trying to say woman need to cook. they dont, bc i literally refuse to cook also. Its just that they wrote her so terrible and unlikeable but its written im assuming for the girls who want to fantasize that a man will fall at her feet kiss her butt no matter what awful personality she shows. As much as i would like a guy who likes me no matter what & cooks for me as well, i dont like the characters written with such nasty self centered personalities that it literally makes no sense why anyone puts up with her. let alone a love triangle where supposedly nice men are going to fight over her, do everything for her, when she treats people like shit. & changes her mind on her feelings constantly……) And i literally dont know what half the words you wrote meant, but i certainly dont want lamely written women characters either? Yet she is one of them. So unlikeable my mom and i couldnt stand her personality & quit the show after episode 11. thats so far into the show yet she was irredeemable at that point. ugly personality ugly writing for a “strong woman” like you say. strong how??? strongly selfcentered? yes
