I decided to not read any comments until I've caught up to the drama. Now I'm relieved that I'm not the only one who sees the whole HyeJi thing.
I don't think that Na Eun can act (nothing personal, didn't even know about this person existing before this drama). However the real problem here isn't her but her character. HyeJi never does anything fun or something exciting. Every bit of screen time she gets is about her thinking about HyunMin or having awkward conversations with him. I don't even know who this girl is. I only know that she is obsessed with this guy for some reason that I simply cannot see and that's her whole existence in this drama. No personality no nothing. So I think that the writers and the director drop the ball here, not the actress herself. Btw does anyone know whats going on with her face? It's not that it's ugly, it's just kinda flat and bloated and her mouth doesn't seem to move naturally. I don't mean to be mean, just kinda curious.
Maybe around ep 11 or 12. But to tell you the truth, I got stuck again around 14. Not sure if it will pick up again, but it's not definitely as good as the beginning was
I enjoyed this drama, I really did, but I'm still struggling to see the key element that makes everyone love it SO much. I can say that it didn't have many flaws and because of that it was a nice drama, but still only nice. So I'm really confused about the hype. Not saying it doesn't deserve it, because I'm obviously missing something, but I'm not understanding why everyone thinks it's a 10. For me it was just a Korean drama among the others with few lesser flaws. So can the people who love it tell me what makes it so special? I'm sincerely just curious, so please no hateful comments, because this wasn't an one either.
Can my love for SJK and SHK overcome my disdain for writer Kim Eun Sook for me to give this drama a go? Ah, the…
I'm kinda disappointed on the drama as a whole but you should definitely watch it if you want. The beginning is sooooo good, so I feel that the drama is worth watching. It's starts off better than any other drama this year. Just watch it until you feel like it's not worth it anymore, but as you can see some people loved it till the end. So give it a go. Maybe you'll get stuck in the middle where it gets less enjoyable in my opinion, or maybe you'll enjoy the ride until it's finished.
I would recommend it. It starts off really nicely. Somewhere around the middle it gets kinda suffocating for few episodes, but it picks ups toward the end.
This started out sooo good, and now it's just an ok show to watch to pass time. It jused to be one of the highlights of the week, but now I'm not even excited when it comes out. Too much repetitiveness. The female lead is always worried about the same things and the male lead is always dying. I have a feeling that the ratings will escalate quickly after the show ends.
Finally a drama with english conversation that actually is good and makes sense. I've seen too many of those dramas where someone has supposedly lived in a english speaking country and yet cannot form an sentence more complex than a three year old could. And I'm not going to get even started with the pronunciation, It's really horrid. This drama deserves a big hand for not making a joke out of itself on that prospect
Mmm I kinda feel that the beauty of the reply series lies within not having anything mind-blowing happening. There is always these crazy plot twits going on and even though they are enjoyable I felt that skipping them was really refreshing.
Enjoyed the drama, except one thing: the older Duk Seon. She was so annoying and not a single bit like Duk Seon. One of the least convincing younger-elder performances I've ever seen. I even think that the drama would have been better without the 2015 sections, even though it's a Reply series. Having another set of actors really killed it and non of them convinced me. No Eul was probably the best of the 2015 characters, although I would have loved seeing him turn into a young looking hottie and everyone being like "what happened?"
Jang Na Ra is sooo cute in this drama, I can't handle it >_<. I find the Korean version of the character much more lovable than the chinese. I actually adore her, wich is quite rare when it comes to korean romcoms.
I love this drama, buuuuut I would love it even more if the main couple was CCH&JGW. I really really can't standthe male lead, He is sooooooo annoying -_- The President instead is fresh and unique. No hate towards anyone, just stating my opinion :) I'm hoping that this could be one of those moments when directors decide to surprise the wiewers with changing the pairings T-T
There is something really special and beautiful about this drama that I can't help but wow at it. The feeling that u get from it is so much different than from other k-dramas, it has some kind of glamour that i can't really put my finger on it.
