Noooooo! What's happening with the second female? I'm definitely not loving the development. Why do writers conclude that people like to watch nasty characters. I don't mind her being a bit whiny and self-centered, I just don't want her to turn on her friend (Hyon Soo). They had such a good vibe going for them at the beginning of the drama, it actually made me excited for the friendship. But now it's all destroyed. Makes me sad :(
I've watched 3 episodes raw and I can definitely say it's a good one to watch. It really matches the vibes of the first season. The first episode didn't really do it for me despite being funny, but it picked up from second episode where the actual plot started.
I've started to appreciate the Eun Jae actress from first season, because now I understand how well she portrayed awkwardness, it was almost painful to watch Eun Jae struggling in the first season. The actress in this season is not able to show that what so ever, but despite that the new Eun Jae is very quirky as well. So as long as I consider them different characters with the same past it's all good.
Ji Won gets her own plot! It's so very exciting! I love her! And they are tying loose ends from season one and continuing with the plots started in there.
Despite all the struggles it's the same good stuff as season one so far so please give a try without hesitation!
Is it just me or was the pace of the first episode a bit off? Or a lot off? The plot was fun but the way it was executed made it hard to focus. The cues weren't really on point. Did someone else notice or am I just imagining stuff? Also couldn't really get a grip on the characters soul life. Felt like there wasn't a effort to make them easy to follow because we kinda already know them. Going to watch second episode now. Hope it picks up.
I loved Yi Na, so I find it really a shame that the character won't go on. But if I put that behind, I feel like it's actually good to have some change, because the highlights of season 1 were when the girls learned to interact with each other.
What annoys me a lot is actually the fact that Eun Jae is played by an another actress. The audience is expected to pretend that they don't notice anything. I felt like Eun Jae's actress in the first season had a very peculiar look and habitation to her that really added to the character, so I would have hoped that given the actress isn't there anymore, they would have replaced the whole character. But maybe the script was already done and they couldn't or something. I'll try to understand. I hope it won't tick me too much while watching.
I don't know what really happened with the Onew business and I don't care. I feel like bad people shouldn't been given attention, but in this case I feel like I would be ignorant for reacting too strongly to something that I have only second hand knowledge of. It won't stop me from anticipating this drama. But that's just me.
There are a lot of concerns about the cast, which some of I share. Also second seasons with asian tv is always risky business, but since the filming-crew did such a good job with the first season, I hope they'll manage to show all of as wrong and rock this series. After all, there can't be too many good dramas.
I feel like the plot is falling apart in some points but I still can't help loving it for the few very special moments it has. It's very good second rate stuff, goes in to same category as boys over flowers for me. The characters aren't consistent and the plot sometimes makes no sense, but can't help loving it. So if you're wondering whether to watch or nah, just take off your critical looking-for-quality- entertainment-glasses and sit back and enjoy! It's very funny and hot from point to point.
What's up with all this talk about the hair :D While watching I didn't pay any special attention to the main actresses hair and now that I'm looking at some photos of the drama it looks just fine. What bothered me more is the romance story line. It just doesn't feel real that the silly DoHa is the one in a lifetime love that the sleek male lead experiences. I mean she's fine, but the two of them together just didn't convince me.
i don't know about the other villains mentioned here but choi yoo jin is everything but never ever charismatic,…
Hi JHope! I hope you're doing well :)
Good point. Indeed viewer gets to see the pitiful side of her. I would agree that she isn't the kind of person who would get a lot of applaud from me in real life. I also didn't feel for here. But despite not liking or sympathizing with her, I still feel that as a character she is a show-stopper. I never finished the drama but she indeed was the skeleton holding the drama together and is was interesting for me to follow this despicable yet pitiful character. Only when a main character can be understood and fancied but never accepted, can a concept of an anti-hero be fulfilled. I feel like this drama despite all it flaws did a great job delivering this type of character. Not an hero, not an villain, but an anti-hero.
I was thinking that this is a 16 episode series and that the pace is pretty good. But just now I realized that it is a 24 episode drama and I'm starting to get worried. The plot is too intense and moves too fast for it to be dragged till episode 24. I'm afraid that there are some shitty plot twists and draggy scenes ahead of us. Please don't ruin this. It's so beautiful at the moment.
There are few scenes in the kdrama that I love just because how the actress sounds in them. One of them is AnNa yelling "shoot". I haven't seen any yoona dramas, but I've heard lot of bad things about her acting skills. But in this case I have to say that the actress is a great one if she can make such an impact with her voice.
This is so gooood. It's so good that I'm starting to get afraid for the rest of the drama. What if they ruin it like they do with almost every freaking promising k-drama. I am praying that they'll be consistent, because in this case consistent means amazing.
SO MUCH TO BE RESOLVED SO LITTLE TIME honestly Hye Ji is a pain in the butt. I mean I can tolerate the stepmother…
OMG, I KNOW!!!
I'm worried that it's gonna get super heavy because every character kinda has a past left to be reviled. THERE ISN'T ENOUGH TIME. And because there are so many dark secrets, I'm afraid that the sweet romance part is gonna get cut off and the last four episodes are gonna be people crying and being shocked about everything.
Loving the drama though.
