Honestly, A good watch!
I will be honest. I don't enjoy stories related to horror, or shamanism in this case. The only reason I watched it was for Lee Do-Hyun and Kim Go-Eun and damn, they didn't disappoint even for a single second. I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. The scene with the grandfather's spirit killing his own son gave me chills. That was so cruel and creepy. I was little confused about the grand father's past story but I guess it has more to do with me not having knowledge about the korean history rather than the movie's fault.
Overall, It was a good watch!

One of the best historical kdramas I have watched so far!
To be honest, when I saw the first few stills of Lim Ji Yeon, I didn't expect much from the drama. I thought she wouldn't suit a historical role but my God the way she proved me wrong!?I don't think I can imagine any other actress doing this role better than her. Even Choo Young Woo, I heard he was a rookie actor, and to say he nailed both the roles would be an understatement.
They both made me root for their characters, made me cry with the love and devotion they had for each other and for the people they love.
This drama also had an amazing side cast. Each and every character did their role so well. It was refreshing to see a drama not focused on fighting for the throne but rather for the anatomy of slaves.
A very good watch!

About the story - I feel there could have done so much with the story. They really gave it so little. It felt as though the time gaps were more for show rather than contributing to the plot. When I read 'they couldn't get the time quite right' I was expecting much more than just what we were served with. Even with the ending, something felt amiss.
That being said, Kim Go-eun and Jung Hae in did a commendable job with both their characters. They did very well with a story that served so less.
I really look forward to see these two act in a drama.
