I am really confused that this didn't get licensed to be honest because it seemed to be quite a big drama. So now I am in a dilemma because I want to watch this drama but my Korean skills won't do the show justice. However, if anyone decides to fansub these; message me. I can help with time setting and other basic things. (I still hope it gets licensed by anyone though)
Omg, I roughly agree with the whole article BUT I 100%ly agree with the Bonus. The thing is, I hated boys over flowers (but I have to admit I only watched the Korean version) even though I think it's a kinda must-watch in K-drama land but I DON'T NEED 739 VERSIONS OF THE SAME PROBLEMATIC PLOT
His acting in Mother is amazing. He was so scary. Every time he was on the screen I felt uneasy. I am in love with him. Also his English is soo good like wow This man is a masterpiece.
Well, the reason I watched this was because I wanted to see Lee Jong Suk in a different role than usual and I must say, he did a good job. Not my favourite villain but a quite satisfying one. The cast, in general, was very strong and impactful part of the drama. I loved Kim Myung Min in it. The plot, however, was so confusing and all over the place that I had difficulties following it. So all in all, great cast but a weak script.
I added this to my watchlist before the number of episodes was released and now I am kinda skeptical... 120 is so much I guess I'll wait for some people to recommend it (or not)
Someone give this man a proper role. He caught my attention in Day6' "Shoot me" MV and I spent solid 20 minutes on finding out who he is just to realized he didn't participate in anything long enough to appreciate his acting. :(
Oh dear, I couldn't agree more with the kiss scenes because I could barely do a top 5 of my favorite kiss scenes but it's getting better these days...
But a point I would like to add (since I am already at kisses and romance): Take an unpopular, poor, rude and average girl often not the brightest crayon in the box. Now take a boy He is smart, athletic, handsome, funny and actually perfect expect maybe one flaw like being a bit too violent and/or arrogant. But that's not enough since that girl is so special. She is extraordinary (even though they never really say what's so special about her but who we are to question good-looking men's choices, right?) and way too unique for only one man to fall for her (or because the writers are running out of plot on ep 7 and they still need to fill another 8,5 episodes before they can call the lead couple a canon couple) so there is another man (but this one is nice and seems to be more of a human being though) who falls head over heels for her
and voilà: A classical rom-com with the thing we call Second-Lead-Syndrome
Sadly, I am not a person who reacts to hypnosis which is quite sad because I would like to un-spoiler myself a few dramas/films I haven't even watched yet. And I personally only rewatch/read things I enjoy so I do it to "feel" a certain atmosphere (etc.) again so I am fine with rewatching things knowing what will happen. However, a really interesting article and I wish it would work on me. :((
To be honest, I didn't like Thumping Spike 2 at all. In fact, I couldn't even finish it. I loved the first season so much i watched it in one sitting. It was light, heart-warming and cute while the second season just doesn't do justice to the first season.
It really depends on the drama. I forced myself through some dramas because of different reasons. Boys over flowers, for example, I hated this show for so many reasons but I already watched 10 episodes and at this point, I was too stubborn to admit I watched something I didn't like and wasted 10 hours of my life for it. When I watched Bride of the Habaek and Hwayuki, I got quite bored but I was interested in the side couple. When I watched Return I just wanted to know how it ends.
When I drop dramas it's more of an impulsive act. I dropped "Temperature of Love" and "Reunited Worlds" because at one point I just got so annoyed by it that I angrily added them to my Dropped-list
So this went from a 10/10 before it aired because somehow people rated it, then it aired and comments were filled…
Well, let me put it like this: The story and characters are a gigantic mess. 80% of the time I didn't understand why they were doing certain things and it often just seemed to be for unnecessary drama. It started off quite well but turned into chaos quickly. The main couple doesn't really have good on-screen either. But most of the actors are doing a really really good job. So if you like revenge plot and can bare unnecessary drama and a few plot holes you might enjoy watching it and the eye-candy in it.
I personally really really like his acting. It was on point in just between lovers (in my opinion) and I only heard good things about chief kim.
He prepares well for his roles, so I would say he is: "Junho [...] talked about the ways that he mentally prepared himself for the role. His character is very sharp and charismatic, a source of tension within the drama. He said, “To get ready for the character, I ate only one meal a day and in order to fight with loneliness, I lived by myself.” (soompi: https://www.soompi.com/2017/01/21/2pms-junho-talks-unique-preparation-role-chief-kim)
Oh okay my bad because I never thought of him being with the female lead. I kinda always "shipped" him with krystal's character but you are right he deserved better

Looking forward to more articles! ^^

[And I loved your article. It was fun to read]

Can't believe it is comming to an end next week

Takeuchi Yuko portrays Sherlock perfectly. Amazing actress.
I love it so much
