It's open ended so it's really up to you to decide what you believe. I personally feel like they made it since…
I agree. I think they are doing what they did with Kingdom. They clearly want to do a season 2. Netflix needs to allow this and that only happens if the show gets enough attention. I think these shows get an offer where they are allowed a certain amount of episodes and they have to kind of 'prove themselves' that the show is good enough. They don't seem to be operating in the way traditional korean tv dramas work (which has a habit of filming last minute to please the general audience watching aka they could change the plot at the end).
bae gyuri, the worst female lead i've come across in a long time. i never hated a female lead as much as i hated…
I agree with you, Gyuri is an unlikable character but I think that is the point. I don't think we are supposed to like any of the characters, even the main male lead (perhaps only Minhee is the most likable characters, the one people are rooting for). I would say, unlike a normal 'story', this show has no 'hero'. It's a dark drama, but definitely with it's fault. We like the male lead because of this 'tragic back story', they tried to do this with Gyuri too, but the writers failed at this. They should have made the audience sympathies with her more (like they did with Jisoo). Take for example the Joker, an unconventional lead the audience roots for. I found Gyuri so frustrating but I think she is who starts the plot of the drama.
very weird and interesting short drama. At first, I thought Junichi was more of a representation than a real person, focusing on the different women but it seems that Junichi is a very real person in this drama. The last two episodes seemed to have happened in the same town/city. This drama just seems to be about loneliness people feel and dissatisfaction with relationships and honestly, I really didn't get it. I thought, in the end, we would learn more about Junichi but we don't. why does he have a limp and why does he sleep around? He's a very interesting character so I would have enjoyed learning more about him. Honestly, if you want to watch this sure give it a go, but there's no real plotline and it leaves you very confused and dissatisfied.
