Ok I would have rather them leave the kiss out then give us the "just lips touching" kiss 😭 I get they're idols and crazy Stans go wild but then just leave it out completely lol

Overall liked this show though!! I looked forward to it every week :)
On Check Out the Event Sep 7, 2021
This drama had no purpose I feel like :/ neither of the main leads were likable, the break up reason was pitiful, the other 2 couples were kind of confusing, the acting was stiff, etc. In my opinion there's really nothing great about this drama but it's short so it's not a huge commitment, especially if you don't like it 😭

I don’t know if it’s just me but I thought Hye Min was lying about being the long lost daughter 😭 the way the scene of her finding the flyer was set up made it seem like she was wasn’t really the lost girl but I guess she is 😂

I 100% agree with you. I think that Korean dramas are definitely going through a period where they are getting…
Yup, I agree 100%. Things always change, there are acting styles, tropes, etc that aren't popular anymore so we see less and less of it. I feel like the newer ones are just telling different stories that people of different cultures may be able to relate to in one way or another but Kdramas are still evidently kdramas lol

I don't know if it's just me but the part where Cartoonist Oh loses his face and the parts where it comes back creep me out. I had to cover his face when it came on the screen like my goodness 😭 the whole show took a turn when he made a villain let alone made his face the villain but the show isn't bad, just messy. And the chemistry is good, not spectular.

After episode 15, I'm not sure where the creators were heading entirely with this drama...s apart from all the…
It's really just a healing drama. The thriller is supposed to show a possible outcome of someone who was abused and had no one to go to from what I gathered so it's still in the line of "healing" I guess. Episode 16 kind of wraps that up I guess I can say but the twins should have definitely got more screen time.

Me too. I don't understand the crime in this drama. What is the relationship between the twin and the murder?
The murderer is the author of the pure murder book we see in the show. Basically Ian pushed the murder to prove what he wrote in the book was real so he could get revenge on the children’s home parents. I believe Choi Jung Min was left to oversee it in Korea but he wasn’t the one that asked the guy to do it?? Why the murderer actually did that idk, maybe he’s ill?? And I might be completely wrong but what I’ve gathered 😭

Okay so i would agree with most of criticism here (the lazy plot, the boring characters, the toxic relationship…
I agree, I'm team let people enjoy what they want 😭 bashing and constantly arguing with people over a drama is so unnecessary. This drama isn't my favorite because I lost interest halfway through and I thought the leads could use more character development 🤷🏾‍♀️ but that's MY OPINION, I don't have to go to war with others for loving the drama, more power to them and I'm glad they enjoyed the show 😊 Debating is cool but straight up insulting like come onnn.
At the end of the day it's a drama aka fiction in one way or another. This drama was meant to be realistic so I can understand complaints about that but in my opinion it still is?? She didn't make the choice I thought she would based off of the webtoon comments but people are still very much like the leads from beginning to end whether every individual deems that good or bad. It was one of the many realistic outcomes that can happen in real life... This is also a slice of life, no guarantee that they will stay together.
Also, let's normalize not bashing writers/directors for the sole reason they didn't do what we wanted them too. It's their work so they decide the message and direction they want to go with their work. Noting on what you deem lazy writing, what you would have liked to see, etc., is all good but once again the bashing and insulting is overkill. Let's also take this as a lesson that dramas based on webtoons a lot of the time will not be exactly the same (shown with true beauty, at a distance spring is green, nevertheless, etc. I haven't read any of them but based off the comments) Maybe that will take some of the disappointment away 😭 let's not set expectations based on the webtoons because it's not working out well evidently. Unless of course it's said that the webtoon and drama are supposed to be exactly the same.
I also think it's important to be cautious of the shows we watch if we think they might trigger/upset us, especially if we're in a vulnerable state to keep our mental health well. Lastly, just because characters in a drama did it doesn't mean it is the best decision for you and your situation 🙅🏾‍♀️, remember this is a drama and not your key to life. We can learn somethings from dramas but not everything should be picked up.

All in all let's have fun/enjoy watching different dramas and debating civilly!! <3

Honestly try it out if you’re interested! This show wasn’t my favorite but it honestly didn’t have much to do with the ending (a little but not a lot). Also, ignore the webtoon comments, the show is basically nothing like it, different message and all 😭

So the situations that people were saying Park Jae-eon was being manipulative like calling the ambulance when he couldn't contact her actually not red flags? Did he actually care about her then?
Now I'm just confused after finishing the series 😭 I low-key wish I ignored the webtoon comments because I thought the show was going in a different direction because of them but I don't think my opinion of the show changed a lot tbh either so idk
