Based on your watchlist, you mostly enjoy romcoms. Which is fine, good for you! But just like someone here said…
I didn't imply anything, I simply said that mysteries like this are not as easy to watch as romance and comedy. It's not an implication, not an opinion, it is a fact. Talking about offensive... Do you know what IS offensive? Putting words into someone's mouth, trying to turn their words around and starting arguments over nonexistent things. I stated a fact and said nothing negative about anything, but you managed to misunderstand it and turn it into an argument. It's new year's eve, sir. Let's not do that. There are more productive ways to spend the night. Have a nice evening.

I was just stating the fact that this drama requires a person's full attention, unlike romcoms. I literally praised it. If that's offensive.... then everything is.
i kept waiting for it to get better , sadly that never happened, This is super boring. Lack of character depth…
Based on your watchlist, you mostly enjoy romcoms. Which is fine, good for you! But just like someone here said before me, Awaken is not for everyone. It's not an easy watch like a romcom: you can't just turn your brain off while watching it. Awaken is a drama where you have to actively use your brain to figure things out, or you'll get lost. That's probably what happened. Different people enjoy different things, nothing's wrong with that. I'm sorry you were unable to enjoy it, maybe next time.
Gary Stu, (noun) ; A male version of a Mary Sue. Seemingly perfect character who fits the above criteria of lacking personality, flaws, struggles and being extremely attractive and powerful.
Now pardon my french, but what the fuck? I'm not going to go on a rant about the "lacking personality" part, because I would end up writing a whole ass book, BUT Do Jung Woo has no flaws?!
* possible spoiler incoming*
The guy literally CAN'T SURVIVE without his lollipops. Brain problem, mental illness... I could keep going. Lacks struggles? The WHOLE SHOW is about his struggles. He is strong, but does that one thing really make him a Gary Stu?
This list is no longer accurate.I checked on this list a couple of times today because it was gaining votes suspiciously…
Noticed the same thing with Yang Zi and Bai Lu! They kept gaining votes minute by minute! Went from 150 & 170 to 230 & 250. Thats EIGHTY votes in a ridiculously short time... hah. Makes me wonder who hates these people so much... They don't even know them...
Look, I get what you're trying to say, I really do but multiple people pointed out how wrong you are. Even an alleged expert explained why, and I agree with them. And you're reaction to that is "I cannot possibly be wrong! I must be right, I just have to keep repeating my opinion!" I know people can do that when they're arguing through a screen, but it's kinda sad.
You really said it can't be realistic if it's korean? Like woah, we know the standard they set with kdramas is kind of unserious, but you're super-duper wrong if you think every korean film/series are like that.
I completely agree with you regarding the romance. To me, it seemed as if the writers suddenly changed their mind…
They didn't change their minds and just made her his twin. In the first episode when he was looking for her: He drew her based on what she looked like as a kid and what HE looks like as an adult. Because duh, twins are supposed to resemble each other at least a little bit. She was always his twin and was never a love interest. It wasn't just changed later on. It was like that from the very beginning. Also the child actors probably had an age difference, but for me it wasn't that noticable. She just looked shorter, which can be normal.
The synopsis sounded interesting but some comments down here were kind of discouraging, so I started watching this one with my expectations on the floor. I thought "whatever, let's give it a try". Now let me just tell you this: I spent my entire day off binge-watching it and I have no regrets. So many unexpected twists and turns, not to mention how much the characters grew on me. I'm in love and miss them already. Every single second was worth it, 10/10.

I guess I do?

Interesting.
