Taecyeon’s character could have been so much better written here. Why did they give him a Chinese name and have him keep speaking Korean when no one else in the show does. It doesn’t add much to his character and just makes the audio more complicated because we now switch between Japanese, French, English, and Korean. It would have been fine for him to speak Korean when he’s just talking to himself, but otherwise it was kinda awkward to watch. His background was also super shallow and over-dramatized. I get that it’s a movie so not enough screen time to elaborate. I was excited to see him featured here but was ultimately disappointed in the execution.
