I like your list a lot. I agree with a lot of the ratings of family dramas I watched. The list reminds me of awesome classics and helps me see some I would like to try but missed.

So was the whole drugs and brothel shit about him fake?
He was with a specific prostitute several times, and that prostitute had falsely accused him of drug-taking and went to the police to create drama. The woman had started off blackmailing him with evidence of their affair when she wanted/needed a large sum of money, and so Lee, having been her client before and a celebrity, was specifically targeted. She also tried to make Lee feel bad for her in the process, like he has to "help" her. Lee's loyal friend helped him pay a the woman a bit, but she started asking for more, and soon Lee refused to help her anymore. She got angry and retaliated with lies about Lee taking drugs. Almost immediately after, the police then went out of their way to detain him and re-question him over and over again for long periods of time (leading to negative societal views of him ('likely being guilty if the police haven't released him in so long' type of mindset). The police were giving him a particularly rough time partially because they wanted to get promoted for a "big case", i.e. to make a sensation out of a celebrity taking drugs, almost forcing him to confess through repetitive drilling and not letting him rest despite zero evidence to prove anything the woman said...to the point where he was so exhausted that he admitted that one night the prostitute gave him some unnamed medication pill when he asked her for something that could stop a painful migraine. He did not know what she gave him, so he told the police that perhaps that was it, since the lady actually did do drugs before. Then it became even more bloated in the media. It was especially interesting for the media because Lee always showed his love for his son and actress wife publicly for years and years, so lurking sensation-seekers all aimed and hoped to see him break that "perfect family man" image. One major societal concern being pointed out now is the gossip-lovers and media groups who always wait for the fall of a person/celebrity. These "hyenas" are often ignited at unproved rumours at the expense of the innocent -- like how the police were so carried away that they did not even look at the loopholes in the similar-but-not-same repeated lies of a manipulative woman who had many criminal charges in her record, in this particular case. So, did he have an affair? Yes. Did the woman lie to the police and frame Lee? Yes. Is there major, enduring sick rot in the police, politicians and overall system? Yes(...would be an understatement, unfortunately). Did he deserve to be treated like he is if he was scum and drug addict, and to be destroyed in terms of family, reputation, career, acting passion and...hope for continued existence (life) itself? I believe we all have our answers to that. [...Apologies for having you read such a long post. May we all be strong enough to retain some kindness and light in our hearts at all times.]
