Yes, it's a happy ending, the team defeated the bad guys, and they were able to have the deceased secret agents' identities restored and have them buried honorably in the special force cemetery
Hm, the focus is on a virus and the scientists, and the 'hidden' agents cracking the bad guys down. Definitely crime genre. If anything, the politics would be around that, instead of politics standing alone as the genre.

I'm surprised by the low ratings. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!
LSH, KMM, KSJ, and PST did a wonderful job. Great actings. They are so charismatic.
The endings seems to be set for a ss2, but it's been 7 years now, so it doesn't look like it'll happen.
Would love ss2.

The show itself is so-so to me, but I like the human rights content. Good job that there's a show that talks about these important issues.

Pretty heavy movie. I like it though. But it's not a light/relaxing watch.

Totally love this movie ! I think it deserves a much higher rating.

I watch ss2 first and I loved it. FL was a bit annoying there the way she depends so much on the forensic outcomes that she keeps pressuring the forensic team to work faster.
But here in ss1, the first 3eps. omg I can't stand her lol. for a charactor who's suppose to be a top student, she's so childish (keep blaming BB when she looses a case) and irrational (gets emotional in court and accuse without proper evidence)
Starting ep4 ss1 now, I'm hoping her charactor will evolve soon.
