This is my first Bai Lu drama and I'm totally captivated by her. Her performance in her 'connections/chemistry' with the other charactors, like the grandfather and LMX, are superbly done I'm only at ep 3 and i'm hooked, looking forward to the next eps.
I never thought the female lead fell in love with the emperor, more so for survival and revenge. Even in the end,…
Agree. Her feelings for FH showed more depth and it's more touching to me. At least she shed tears several times for FH. Her relationship with the emperor seemed to be based on a 'I have to win, I have to have the upper hand' type of attitude. The ending was disappointing to me actually. I was getting, little by little, more repulsed by her relationship with the emperor as the eps progressed. So I couldn't quite accept that supposed 'joyful happy ending' feeling at all in the final scene.
I ship yingluo with fuheng so hard even though I knew that they could not be together.I don't support the king…
Feeling the same. I'm at ep 53 now and have been skipping the Emperor-WYL 'romance games'. I find them annoying. But the series as a whole is still engaging to me.
I enjoyed it. I think it deserves a higher rating. Didn't know that Jockey Club also have bets on footballs. I always thought it was for horse racing only.
Very engaging movie. It conveyed the emotions so well that I coukd actually feel what each charactor was going through. Made me cried a lot too. It gets very intense though, and for someone like me who can't really handle too much stress, I had to pause a few times. But I was still drawn and kept watching to the end. Having said that, I felt JH's recording in the end was a bit 'fake', but to be fair, it's hard to guess how anyone's lasts words would be. Korea has produced quite a number of good disaster shows. One other that's my favourite is 'Designated Survivor 60 days'
Ryu Soo Young looks like Jung Yoo Sung. Love the 2 MLs, beautiful charactors. It's quite a heavy drama though. I was expecting something light and relaxing from the poster, but it's actually not. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it even though it was not what I had expected.
omg, i was getting angry for NHO with all his unfortunate events. Seriously, i think anyone would develope anger management issues going through all those 'misunderstandings/accidents'. JW did a good job. He conveyed both the 'hero' side and the 'pathetic' side of NHO.
