I felt it has to do with his guilt over hoang song's death, what you would call survivor guilt. In his last moment…
Ah interesting! So sad though. Sad because he wasted his life, which he could have 'repaid' his debt to HS by fighting/winning the war for HS so HS's death was not a waste. But then again, I've never been in such a tramatic position, so it's unfair for me to criticize as though I know it all. I thought his side story with AW was beautiful. Kind of sad it ended up this way. But it's still beautiful that AW remembered and recognized his name on his tomb and she paid repect to him.
It's a 'feel good' show, easy watch. RW is TALL. WJA looks 'tiny' next to him. CuteLJW is so funny, he's my favourite…
There are parts that felt dragged on though, esp the last few eps. I like the endings of the 3 secondary couples more. The main couple's ending actually bugs me. Personally I won't get back with FL, but I think these types of drama have to wrap up with happy endings. But still, the main couple's ending is so 'fake'.

LOL. I went to continue my watching "She would never know" afterwatching this "Neverthekess". The ML-FL there are so morally proper and hold back so much that I'm like "just kiss her already will you". I think N got spilled over LMAO.
Even though the bed scene was totally predictable, it was still very 'hot'. The drama is pretty tantalizing in the sense that it's just a big red flag, but somehow you just throw all your judgements out the window. Lol I think this is my first drama done in such a way with such a theme. It's a very 'gentle' drama, like quiet dialoges, soft music, gentle touches, even the screen shots and lightings have a 'foggy softness'. But if you think pass that, the storyline is actually quite cruel. Its a hunter-prey 'trapping/killing' story. But instead, it is comunicated, and successfully btw, as a lovely metaphor of a butterfly.
Finished, I like it. There's a part I'm not understanding though. Why did Li Wen Zhong walk into the group of Japanese, around ep 45? It looked like a pointless suicide mission. What was the purpose?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE KBLs. There's something about Korean productions, love them. And the visuals *thumbs up* Also, although it's 'torturous' (exaggerating) that each ep is so short and having to wait for the next ep to air, I'm finding that kind of endearing now. It won't feel like a KBL to me anymore if they make them 10+eps of 1 hour long each ep. LOL
Just started today, in ep 2 now. Lots of 'fun' parts, made me smile. I think things will get serious and bloody…
At ep 17 now. It was a fun drama up to this point, and there were scenes where I was laughing. But now in this ep, I'm tearing up. I couldn't stop crying when the students were shot, That actually got my 'blood boilng' a bit. I'm now interested in readimg up some Chinese and Japanese histories.
Question. Why did FL go to the academy on behalf of her brother? From ep 1, he's already dead, so doesn't that mean his placement at the academy should have been cancelled? I'm not sure if that was explained somewhere and I missed it.

LJW is so funny, he's my favourite charactor.
