Sure! It started off when people spotted the 2G cast filming sth, that triggered rumours of SS2 or movie or sth else.
I found this clip later, Bright mentioned about it in his solo interview. But he did not confirm if it's SS2 or sth else. He only said it'll be sth special. I'm crossing my fingers for a SS2. Just a one ep movie, or 1/2 hr special, or 3mins MV will not satisfy me LOL
Bright had Tu modelling for Astro since around the summer when the F4T main cast were announced. Now Win is having Love as a model for Velence. Kind of make one think Love could be Win's screen partner this time? Hm. idk. Wonder when they'll announce the supporting casts. I'm really curious.
Have MaxTul ever won any awards? I'm curious about awards like 'Best couple', 'Best kiss scenes'. I can't seem to find any. I think they should. They are the classics. Been over 4 years now since Bad Romance, and they are still going strong.
MaxTul are not just 'ships', MaxTul are Naval Destroyers. Yup.
MaxTul?? no way, they won't disappoint. If it turns out that they disappoint here, I'd be in shock, fall down, hit my head, and be in a coma LMAO. jk. The script/storyline itself is a different matter though, that still remains to be seen if it's good or not.
This is a good drama. Very well written charactors and scripts.
The only part that bothered me was when KEH's exhusband asked his son, JW, if he wanted to live with mom or him. And JW chose mom, and went back inside the house happy hugging KEH. I can't see realistically how any kid can make such a decision right away, knowing he'll loose one parent by it, and made it without being saddened by his choice. Idk, that scene seemed 'off' to me.
Aside from that, I think it deserves a higher rating then the current 8.4
I’m really excited for it ! I love this manga and watch all of the adaptations. At the same time I love Together…
B W are not going for the same girl here. Bright and Dew are. W goes with Gorya's friend. Yes, I'm excited too! But it'll be around a 1/2 year's wait. I think my emotions will be drained by then LOL.
So this, ep9, is the last ep. Good choice to end with Godji. Godji is great. Can't say I'll miss this show. I like it, but it's not the best Thai show out there. Hope to see BW hosting again in the future, SUSU !
Bright’s amazing inside & out. He’s not only insanely handsome, but he’s also insanely intellectual and…
Totally agree, Bright is unique. Intelligent, strong physique, as well as good-hearted. On top of those, he's crazy good looking and charismatic LOL He has this 'bad boy vibe' though, which can be viewed as something negative. However, get to know him first. He's a great guy.
Just saw the trailer as well. Its great and I'm excited. Did anyone find its a bit like a Hollywood movie? I got that feel. The background music, the camera shots on the hill/mountain, the Shelock Holmes board which has been widely adopted. Maybe that's normally how Thai dramas are like?
I'm seriously looking forward to MOD, that it will be a good BL series. I'm guessing it's MaxTul, so it can't…
Sure! But there are way too many to type up here. I believe there are over150 BL LGBTQ+ aired just in 2020. Seriously, a mega influx this year.
So i think its easiest if you check my WatchList. You'll see all the shows I've watched, dropped, etc. But the BLs are listed together with the other genres, so you kind of have to fish out the BLs. I only give ratings if the show is worth watching, and I start at '8'.
I respect your opinions. We all have our own bias. To Bright's defence, he's been casted as the main lead 7 times…
Hi Reinee, I'm trying to figure out where you are coming from. I had to edit this comment several times as there are plenty complex issues and it was a bit difficult for me to write them properly in one shot.
You are correct. The Thai entertainment business does favour the western look and it is especially unfair because it is done at the expense of Thai's own cultural origins and descendants. I'm assuming you are Thai? You seem to be passionate about Thai's society being prejudice.
However, it is unjust to target Bright personally on this issue just because he's born part American and by default, within the current Thai entertainment industry, benefited.
Bright is NOT at fault here.
I think this 'white supremacy' mentality has many asian countries 'adopted' for better or for worse, most probably was forced on them from the colonizations by the west. Thailand was never colonized by them though. I believe India and the Phillipines have the same bias towards 'western look's like Thai does.
Btw, Bright is NOT 'bad' in his acting, I like his acting style and I know there are many who like his actings too.. Also, Bright does NOT look like a 'white guy' , he looks mixed. And he DOES look exotic to me, and his vibe is like magnet. LOL. Those are rare qualities and they are hard to replace. But these are our subjective opinions, and we can argue about them till the cows come home.
However, GMM has enough business sense to cast Bright ONLY IF his acting is at least good enough to pull off the ML role. The last thing they'd want is to have a failed project. The industry has already acknowledged Bright as a good enough actor deserving of main leads, by continuiously casting him MLs. These are professional decisions with thousands and millions of dollars at stake. They hold a tremendous amount of weight. In certain ways, much more than 'subjective opinions' of fans and anti-fans.
Also, Bright's popularity is global, his fan base INCLUDES westerners, and other foreigners outside Thailand. It would be too narrow a view to think Bright is so successful ONLY by satisfying the biases of the Thai entertainment culture.
I think it will be more fair if, instead, view Bright as a GMM employee earning a living. In any other corporations or professions, it is normal and acceptable that employees are paid differently, have different status, favoured, and can have different benefits and bonuses, etc. , depending on their productivities, their meeting what fashioned at the time, etc etc. It's a job, a business, employments, profits, and its normal. Accepted as deserving.
It's also about Supply and Demand. Bright is successful and he's casted as MLs because there's a demand for HIM, which includes his looks and his acting style. The Entertainment industry is primarily a business, they operate with the dollar sign more than social issues. Bright has qualities that meets the current demands, so GMM supplies Bright. Basically Bright is one of the top actors/"products" generating high profits for GMM right now. This is a 'dehumanizing' way to look at it.
Bright should NOT be blamed, judged, or deemed underserving of his success because he's born to an American father. It's NOT his fault. In fact, it is reverse racial discrimination to critisize and discredit him based on his American heritage.
I have no intension of down playing the social racial problems in Thailand and Thai industries. And I won't deny that a certain part of Bright's advantage did stem from these problems existing in Thailand. However, I do not wish to see him being discredited and undermined unfairly. His successes ARE largely results of his own merits. His hard works, competences, team attitudes, intelligence, determinations, patience, passions, philanthropist, and a great P to many Nongs.
You are correct, racial bias is prejudice and oppressive. Moreover, racial inequity and racial discrimination are current GLOBAL, very serious, human rights concerns right now. Not limited to only the Thai entertainment arena.
I'm not Thai, hence what I know comes only from the media. I'm aware of the protests in Thailand in 2020. From what I've read, there are a lot of inequities and intimidations towards the people, and the Thai people are fighting to write a new constitution and to reform the monarchy. These are serious matters.
And I can imagine it being 'dangerous' in certain ways should one speak openly against the monarch and goverment at this point. It's easy to mis-direct one's pent up angers and to attack innocent individuals in this current climate. But that is unfair and unjust to those individuals being targeted.
So I think I understand where you are coming from. Given the seriousness of these inequities in Thailand, be them racial, political, social, or wealth related, I can see how my previous comment could come across as insensitive.
Sorry about the request. I always unaccept them, so please don't take it personally. Take care :-)
