Farewell My Concubine broke my heart. Leslie Cheung delivered an amazing performance as Dieyi through a complex but beautiful story and a unique exploration of the character identity — social, sexual and, gender identity — with gorgeous visuals and interesting parallels between Dieyi's life and Yu's role in the opera. It definitely is a must watch.
