A bit disappointing, I kept hoping they would have some play between past and present but that didn't happen until the very last scene which at that point it was beyond late and even became a distasteful send off.
Average execution to this kind of idea. What was even the point? The progression was almost linear with little to no change in the story up until the end.
Pushing to establish a new romantic relationship between strangers under 30 minutes can only produce a rushed one even with a few skips and charming leads. They had plenty of material, topics and themes to fill up the 30 minutes runtime more gracefully. They could've easily extended it into a full feature film. Anyway, it was decent enough.
Ambitious, stylish and different but under-delivered while prioritizing style over substance. I wonder if the unreleased 3 episodes would've made any difference.
