Because nothing is eternal. If nothing is eternal, then impermanence itself could be considered the only constant. Everything in existence is subject to change, decay, or transformation. The idea that all things are transient emphasizes the inevitability of change and the flow of time. So, if nothing is eternal, then perhaps change, impermanence, and the passage of time are the closest things to something "eternal." What I'm trying to say is that one day, MDL will either cease to exist first, or the dead internet theory will become a certain reality.
This kind of concept didn't work for this particular web-drama because the dialogue was very artificial and disingenuous in its delivery despite not having more than a few lines per episodes. The interactions just didn't click, they felt like a bunch of strangers trying to be fake-nice to each other. On the other hand, some of the food shots and OST were decent.
