Rough!

Not good! Characters, story, cast and pace were all pretty rough. Might be worth considering if you would like to check out one of Eugene's & Lee Yoo Ri's first works.

Too bland!

It's the usual love square quarrels of the 2000s, copy-pasted from every single one at the time but this time they're on the beach! It's also similar to Prince's First Love (2004) which also takes a place in a tropical-setting/beach. Anyway, I prefer this inexperienced newcomer Lee Chung Ah over the current more plastic-filled one.

Bad!

Straight up unserviceable junk!! Disjointed low-budget shallow story that had no redeeming qualities. There aren't many time-stops dramas but this is definitely the worst to adapt the concept. The drama took the concept of time-stop and ran it into the ground. The memes of time-stops in JAV hold more weight than this embarrassment. The worst power-fantasy junk anime is still better than this. The inexperienced cast only brought it down even further. It's not like they had a lot to work with but still couldn't sense any talent in their souls. You can blame one part of the production over another but in reality everyone involved was to be blamed here.

An interesting mini series with a wide range of stories each one is unique with a small twist. Some of them were good enough that they can be turned into a full featured movie. Each one had a different theme and feeling, some took the comedic creative route while some took more of a serious one. Some of them had the vintage feel of early 2000s Korean horror movies. Overall, it's interesting watch.

Watchable but....

I'm not sure what's the writer trying to do. There are 5 sibling who encounter every imaginable individual/familial problem every single episode. There was no period of recovery, problem after another until the writer ran out of episodes otherwise she would keep writing more problems. The problems didn't really help progress the story as much as just prolong its run. There's no real development. After the end credits they will get back to being their usual miserable selves but maybe they will drag more people into their misery now they're married. The formula is simple and the fix is even simpler. Reduce the amount of ridiculous problems, give the characters more depth and bigger problems rather than more problems. These problem should be characters defining type of problems.

If I had to take a guess, the writer mainly writes daily dramas and writing for a smaller series was an unfamiliar territory for her. This showed by how things changed around the end, just like any daily drama. The change came because they ran out of episodes. I wanted to like the drama but it's in a non-functional state. Yet, it had some nice moments and some dark humor at times which makes it kinda watchable.

Shim Ran raped We Sang while unconscious, got pregnant, had a baby and gave him the kid to raise. In what world is that acceptable? The drama made a big problem of the smallest things but somehow they brushed off this matter like nothing and didn't get more than a couple of scenes. I think Shim Ran had a total of 4 scenes in the entire thing. There were several other examples just like that, this is how the writer treated most of the problems. They were added just for the shock value.

!

It's the usual idol lead in a school with sobby troubled teens cliches done to the cringest degree. Not cute. Not entertaining. Not funny. Not romantic. And definitely not a good music themed one. This drama seems to serve as a promotion piece for Yong Jun Hyung.

Good enough

It took forever to get to the spicy bits but the comedy was really good. At the same time, some of the tangents were seriously boring. It's a light infidelity drama, it doesn't get too serious and melo. Neither of the couples got too far but the damage was done. There was some pacing issues as well, it didn't need 22 episodes.

Barely watchable...

It was unbelievably slow. It's the definition of uneventful. On the other hand, Jin Joo Hyung was unbelievably bland. The dude is stiffer than a plank of wood. Add to that his none existent chemistry. Nonetheless, the four leads relationships were boring anyway. And then there's Leo who spoke a few sentences in Italian and we never heard him speak later. Including a bit of Italian barely fit the budget!

It doesn't do a good job making a "family" drama. The mother's fling seems to be taking most of focus. The family relationships are barely there. The inheritance/fortune thing mentioned in the synopsis was briefly mentioned for 1-2 episodes and became completely irrelevant after that. The drama had a big cast but lacked variety. Everyone was hang on their 1st love. Everyone was having marital problems in the last 10 episodes. Why repeating the same thing across all the couples?

What's even worse, the drama suffers from massive inconsistencies especially with Gang Jae. His character was changing at the writer's will while discarding earlier build up. Don't get me started on his love life too. Min Ji was too prominent for the first 10 episodes as a main character then suddenly disappeared for 12 episodes and only came back once every 5 episodes or so. Yoo Ra's husband had too much power and control over everyone until suddenly he didn't. And many more examples.

Very bad!

The usual nipple twister makjang except this one take a wonky unfavorable route because it thinks itself special. At least other daily melo can deliver "something". Even if we disregarded the ending, the drama was infested with retardation throughout its run. I detest this piece of garbage with passion. The one thing I hated the most is whenever Moo Yool & Yoo Jung looked at each other or muttered a single word, Soo Hyuk would instantly spawn out of thin air and screech like a pig. This is definitely Choi Yoon Young's & Sung Hoon's worst drama they starred in.

The creepy obsessed Soo Hyuk ended up with Yoo Jung. It would have been infinitely better if she ended up alone or if she died or anything!! Soo Hyuk's father killed both Yoo Jung's sister and father, then his mother tried to kill Yoo Jung's mother too! Still, they ended up together and had a kid. On the other hand, initially, Moo Yool's predicament with Yoo Jung seems very simple. He used to date Yoo Jung's sister when they were teens +10 years ago before she died.

Bad love

For the story and this prolific love of theirs to work, a lot of hard work needed to prove their undisputed love and the leads needed to have a better chemistry which the drama didn't do a good job of neither. They took the concept of "love" and ran it to the ground. It was nothing but ugly. There was a desperate need of balance between good and bad. The opposing party (the baddies) were invincible until they weren't. The pace was often off, 5 episodes can pass while the leads don't even have much screen time. The breakups/separations gaps were too damn long without any interaction between either sides. About 10-15 episodes can pass without these "lovers" talking or seeing each other, what is this writing?! You can't make excuses for the drama for being old because I've seen infinitely better dramas from the same era. On another hand, Suk Jin just looks too old to be involved with the others. I wanted Suk Hee to have a bigger contribution, she got less screen presence than any of the support cast.

Could've been better

Not that bad if you can get over Chul Soo and his initial impression. It's mostly lighthearted and comedic without much melo. With that being said, I wanted to see more variety with the characters since it feels a bit stale as it is. Also, a better developed story was needed.

The cringest womanizer!

Not sure if this is a revenge drama or a harem one. There are like 5 women lusting over the main guy. Fitting its title a "bad boy". All of the relationships seems to be written by a teenage girl in her fanfiction blog. Maximizing the cringe! It's borderline a comedy for how silly and goofy it was. It's the worst revenge drama I've ever seen. I read that the drama was cut short by 3 episodes because of Kim Nam Gil military service, this forced a ridiculously baboonish last episode which was the icing on the cake to make it a certified bad drama. Again, fitting its title.

Decent

This drama had a good example of how to do a proper "enemies to lovers" relationship instead of the usual light banter we get. The leads actually hated each other intensely with lots of bad blood between them and it took them quite some time to change that. The elder sister story I wasn't a fan of, it felt flat and lacked depth. Meanwhile the son's story was almost non-existent with the usual cameos every now and then for a comedic relief. More focus on the family was needed. The drama itself was decent although it was lacking in many areas and the last 10 episodes weren't as interesting.

Tough

Yeah it's kinda fucked up how they took the events but regardless of these events, the drama remained weak with subpar writing and passable performance from the cast. I wish the outcome was different, they could've taken the story in a very interesting direction. Since everything happened they didn't even let Dong Woo speak. Really saving a lot of effort in the writing. Otherwise, it would require a very careful write up not to ruin what they built.
