Could've been better
Not that bad if you can get over Chul Soo and his initial impression. It's mostly lighthearted and comedic without much melo. With that being said, I wanted to see more variety with the characters since it feels a bit stale as it is. Also, a better developed story was needed.Was this review helpful to you?
The cringest womanizer!
Not sure if this is a revenge drama or a harem one. There are like 5 women lusting over the main guy. Fitting its title a "bad boy". All of the relationships seems to be written by a teenage girl in her fanfiction blog. Maximizing the cringe! It's borderline a comedy for how silly and goofy it was. It's the worst revenge drama I've ever seen. I read that the drama was cut short by 3 episodes because of Kim Nam Gil military service, this forced a ridiculously baboonish last episode which was the icing on the cake to make it a certified bad drama. Good entertaining drama with a lot of fun but, unfortunately, the middle parts were kinda weak and uninteresting. The four leads played a nice dynamic with each other. There was no nasty and vicious love square. The romance in general wasn't the focus anyway, the family takes the bigger focus. I wish it will be available in glorious squeaky clean (no-upscale) 1080p one day.Rest in piece Lee Eon.

Tough
Yeah it's kinda fucked up how they took the events but regardless of these events, the drama remained weak with subpar writing and passable performance from the cast. I wish the outcome was different, they could've taken the story in a very interesting direction. Since everything happened they didn't even let Dong Woo speak. Really saving a lot of effort in the writing. Otherwise, it would require a very careful write up not to ruin what they built.Was this review helpful to you?
Watchable
The drama biggest highlight was Seo Yoon & Joon Soo story. They had such a great chemistry. Even as individual characters, their chaotic energy was entertaining to watch. Unfortunately, their story almost concluded within the first half while the second half they barely had any screen-time. Which is also unfortunate because the other stories/couples couldn't carry the drama after that. I didn't like Sang Wook & Ji Suk story and Kang Suk & Ae Da story at all, nor I liked their chemistry. However, many characters had a decent and memorable characterization which helped padding the second half.Was this review helpful to you?
Big ships init!
Unnecessarily long for such a casual story, the ships weren't interesting enough to fill the gaps. There wasn't much chemistry between the leads. Both male lead sucked. All the relationships sucked, romantic and non-romantic ones. By the end, I couldn't care less who would end up with who. The first half was purely about the love square. The second half was about business and ships. The drama trick you to think that Kim Hyun Min is the main lead but you'll quickly realize that Se Ra become the lead and occupying more than 80% of screen time. Despite all she did, the drama painted her in a favorable light. While Hyun Min remained insignificant. This is the biggest problem the drama had.Was this review helpful to you?

Worth watching for that slap scene...
Goddamn that was a top tier slap. The biggest highlight in the drama! Anyway, both ML and FL had a great chemistry. However, the story was barely serviceable and full of plot holes, especially the first half while being in Harvard. Might be worth watching for the chemistry and brief romance but I wouldn't stick for the story at all.Was this review helpful to you?

I feel sorry for Ha Ji Won to be involved in this fuming hot garbage. As always, Zo In Sung playing a mentally deranged character. What needed to be said have been already said by everyone, there isn't much to add. If you want to watch it for whatever reason, I highly suggest you read any spoiler before watching it. This is the type of show you need to know the spoilers before watching.The ending:
Jae Min become possessed by an old midget goblin demon soul and goes to buy a gun like an emo kid who wants to take revenge on the world. Then enters the room inconspicuously and empty the gun magazine into both Soo Jung and In Wook while laughing and giggling. Both were laying on the bed drenched in their blood. Then he smirks and says "we live in a society". Then goes to the beach at dawn to watch the final sunset while playing "Ohio Is for Lovers" by Hawthorne Heights on his Walkman. Then he shouts "the world is so cruel!!" and shoots himself in the head. Big sadge!

The relationship between the 4 leads was boring and dry. Both male leads can't act to save their life which led to a lackluster chemistry with their female counterpart. Their love story was below average. The 16 episodes barely had enough events, they were riding on a single element that is being a fake doctor.Was this review helpful to you?
Interesting
This is what happens when you turn up the infidelity to 11. Although it's close but I wouldn't call it realistic. It's definitely a more gritty and unapologetic look into infidelity. We got to see a lot of the character Hwa Yeong but I wish we a deeper look into her character. Her erratic behavior felt misplaced at times. The 24 episodes runtime wasn't fully utilized, there were definitely slow parts in the middle and didn't pick itself up until the last few episodes. Hwa Yeong decision at the end was a bit rushed, I was expecting a better build up for it and a deeper and extended dialogue for a final send off. Overall, it's still a unique overlook on infidelity that's worth exploring.Was this review helpful to you?

Su Jung ain't worth it! This version of Beauty and the Beast is just not good and full of uncomfortable cringe. There's another drama with a similar concept called That Fool (2009) which did it better.Was this review helpful to you?

What kind of male lead is this? All he does is frowning, shouting and being an aggressive douchebag. It's full of unlikable characters and the how they executed the story didn't help either. The kid is included in the plot but had a total of 3 scenes. And then there's the half-assed ending...Was this review helpful to you?
Pain
As it is clearly obvious just from reading the synopsis, this drama revolves entirely around this love square from the first second to the last. It's definitely an intense and exhausting love square, if only the leads had some brains it wouldn't had lasted as long. What bothered me the most is how both leads behave and act as if they came from a foreign planet. The drama is entirely driven by no communication, no explanation and a sprinkle of misunderstandings. From the end of episode 3 it will give you everything you need to know and expect from it.Was this review helpful to you?
