This movie encompasses the difficulty of being a queer student, therefore, making the atmosphere of the movie very serious. And somehow the director made this movie to be not cringey. It does not have much of a lovey-dovey moment as it is more focused on highlighting a student's struggle with being gay, unrequited love, and bullying.
