solid 9.5/10 for me, loved the chemistry between the leads (esp haein- he really suits these types of dramas) and i especially liked the way there wasn't a massive unexpected complication within the last 2 eps. ep 15 imo could have had stronger writing but the series was wrapped up really nicely so i have no complaints :) in the earlier half i also really liked how the show dealt with the mother-eldest daughter relationship, and the way both families were so different but in the end came together and resolved their problems well. i think seokryu's father was probably my fav character especially near the end when danho interviewed him about his restaurant. very touching and happy show, fit to be watched on days when you want to wind down and take your mind off heavy things. i don't really have anything else to say so my review is quite short and compact lol but i'm glad the show was successful. each cast member delivered their roles so well and had fun with e/o too which was very nice to see :)

in the very last 10mins during that photo sequence of the events that occurred after they encountered the neohumans, there's one image of a girl sitting next to yeongsu (?? or like a kid that just looks like him😭) and they zoom into a black scar on her arm which reminded me of the one yisu may or may not have had (cuz i can't vividly recall like. anything from s2 lmao) from when her mum had cut her and poured black paint in the wound back on their boat. dunno what might've happened to her but i just assumed the girl was her.
