Although it's a typical setting of a Kdrama, it stays as one of my favorite dramas of all times. Choi Jin Sil was amazing in this and she really made me cry. I usually don't like weak characters like the one she portrays, still she's one of my most loved ones. After watching this drama I learned that she committed suicide and was very saddened since she's such an amazing actress. and like the previous comment it made me look at the drama differently when I watched it again -I guess that's why I like it so much since she gets a happy ending in it unlike real life.

Ok after watching City Hunter I went into LMH fever -though not a huge fan- and decided to watch this, and I'm glad I did! I dare to say to me this was better than CH in terms of the settings and the romance. Kim Hee Sun was great in this drama very different from Sad Love Story, I love her character out spoken and strong spirit. The chemistry btw her and LMH was overflowing and the progress of their romance is what me kept hooked. The story is very appealing -if you're into time travel, and historical themes. The different characters were interesting. The lack of a big face off between Choi Young and -let's call him Mr. Freeze since I forgot his name- was disappointing. Overall fighting scenes were good.
I don't know why this drama isn't as popular w people as CH but I think it's great and worth watching. It's a bit of a slow start but it gets good.

Just to start off this is a good drama but not the best -unlike many opinions.The story is good & was well carried out but there were many loopholes and not very convincing solutions/approaches.
Acting wise I think everyone did a very good job and delivered their character well. Park Min Young was better in this drama than in sungkyunkwan scandal. Lee Min Ho was easy on the eye, good fighting scenes,and delivered an entertaining character. However I couldn't find any drop of chemistry between Na Na & Lee Yoon Sung. I wanted to feel their love but couldn't. The last episode was great but the epilogue ruined the great face off part. It was so vague & very non-comprehensive that I would rather it ended with the shooting. It was rushed not well set up.Overall good drama I would give it 8-9 for the great story & the well set fighting scenes.Also I would say it's a must Lee Min Ho drama see

The beginning itself doesn't really tell you the actual story but it makes you wonder what is going on. Also like others said the core story starts around episode 8.
he main female crying still didn't affect me as I hoped but she is still very lovable -you won't feel so the 1st few episodes.
This drama is definitely recommended, give it a chance and you'll have yourself an entertaining drama.
Love this drama, cried so much at the mother's hardships. It's recommended if you're into family love and a taboo topic that's never addressed in k dramas.
Never realized it was Gong Hyo Jin since I watched this a long time ago. Knowing it was her makes it even better -she's such good actress.
started out good and not so much in the end. I felt the lead character had a 180-unprepared-for change. It's like a whole new character.
Still if you have free time and feel bored give it a try.
I watched this while it was airing and actually stuck with it. the romance is cute -not your typical male lead. The fact that jang na ra looks so young and does have a baby face. I always looked forward to seeing the designed clothes.
This drama is light and has a lot of sweetness to it. if you're board and have time to watch give it a try.
Great drama indeed. The dialogue and the writing is great. the transition between times and events was good too. Also the lead actress crying was very convincing. the couples chemistry shines in too -might not be obvious at the 1st episode but it gets better. Not to mention the ending ^^<br /><br />After revisiting other "good" dramas I realized what I like best about this drama and what makes it good. There is no actual villain, there is no evil female who tries to scheme against the poor heroine -I know there are assassins and everything still- their main obstacle is time.
