I'll get this put of the way first, I can't say I don't feel some disappointment with how they approached the ending. The show did kind of acknowledge the whole "king fell in love with JBH personality" by showing the king feeling like he's missing something. They also showed JBH with bittersweet smile looking at the historical records to satisfy the whole "did JBH never have any feelings for the king". They also remedied some of the personality thing with So Yong saying something has been unleashed in her and the whole cursing. Now, I think overall and all the way till the end is entertaining, fun, with amazing performance by the cast. Shin Hye Sun, oh Shin Hye Sun, this is her spotlight. This show should thrust her to the forefront because she was just amazing! I think the ending shouldn't discredit the fun journey and funny moments.

I find the queen to be one of the most endearing characters from a drama.

For Curley? yes, in ep1, it really showed her vocals. Obviously those early performances set the stage to who was going to be in the final group.

the reason he is a "vegetative" state in modern era is because there is no soul in the body. and the reason the queen was in a vegetative state is because his soul went back to his body in the modern times. Now he's back to the queens' body but no more of his male voice in the inner monologue. It's now in the queen's voice. Also he's now remembering the queen's life and gaining her talents, which begs the question of are they co-existing? is he fully integrating into her body? etc

That point of the queen's soul is one I'm very curious about. Did she really die or is she stuck somewhere? Also I'm with you on being, again, curious on how will they end this.

Just my opinion, the thing about Transmigration genre is that there is no going back to you original time or body (most of the time), however doing here that means they are acknowledging having a soul that identifies as man in a woman's body who will be with another man. Now, the original Chinese novel said that the soul was supposed to be in a women's body from the get-go but due to a mishap ended up in the a man's boy. I'm not sure what they are going for in this version/story. Usually the soul just gets used to it's new body and environment. Regardless, I'm just enjoying the comedy and the queen's antics -everyone else is kind of meh, and way over their heads.

I agree with you. After seeing the finale and thinking about it I don't feel that bothered anymore. The focus of the show is the human condition, trauma and healing. It was lovely to see the patients again with them being able to move forward. The trio being together and each finding their path was the main focus.

I loved how MY and ST basically trolled GT before the trip lol. I was tearing up and laughing throughout the last ep. I really liked how they developed and their dynamics as a "family". While I'm a bit hung up on the details of the mother, I think like someone said in the comments, the story itself is not really focused on that, rather on the emotional growth and overcoming pain and loneliness. The idea of using stories is just powerful and the final tale with its illustration really paints a picture of the trio and their journey.

This drama has great acting, memorable OST, and a really beautiful dialogue. It'll take you through a journey to overcome pain and fear. You'll see characters grow and learn to love themselves. I highly recommended it.

I can go by with what others and @Ackery in the above comment said to fill in the gaps. BUT I'm still holding for tmw ep...we'll see.

again I might still be hoping for too much, but I'm wondering if what the Director said to the nurse in the police car was significant about when she'll step off the stage too. I think what hasn't made sense is the fact the dad had the mother in a freaking suitcase and threw her in the lake, how the heck did she survive?! That doesn't mean this drama is bad, I can overlook this plot hole because the acting and emotions are raw and beautiful.

I don't usually like hype culture because of the high expectations and disappointment. I learned not to get roped into it BUT I did start the Untamed because of all the hype on tw lol and it was worth it.

I want to add that he sang "Konjou Nashi" in the movie Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge.
