I've watched my fair share of modern rom-com cdramas indeed, really enjoyed Love between Lines the most, I'd say it's the closest to POJ based on my criteria despite being totally different genres and executions. I'm not looking for anything heavy/tragedy at the moment, but I'll definitely check out Warm on a Cold Night!

Veil of Shadows really looks amazing, I'll admit my toxic trait is waiting for dramas to end to binge-watch all at once (my short term memory cannot keep up with plot twists and turns on the long-run lol) and also make sure it's a happy or at least open ending. As for the latter dramas, both are on my watchlist, but I have put aside The Double for now since it's a sad ending and I cannot deal with heavy angst at the moment. Blossom looks quite serious and dark based on the trailer though, hence why I'm still pondering which one to watch next!

Can anyone recommend any other cdramas please? Not necessarily similar to POJ per se, I'm just looking for something as good as POJ in terms of acting, yearning/romance/down bad ML, comedy, writing (especially character developments) and cinematography... Ideally with fluff, hurt/comfort and a happy ending... I started several dramas since finishing POJ and ended up dropping all of them lmao someone save me (for reference, among popular historical cdramas, I have already completed or dropped fated hearts, legend of the female general, prisoner of beauty, and love like the galaxy. I enjoyed love between fairy and devil so I'm definitely open to fantasy as well!)

I miss Rongcheng so much, I need a separate drama in this universe, or better yet take me there

Could anyone tell me how long (in terms of number of episodes) the high school era lasts please? I'm 2 eps in and they're cute, but high school was almost a decade ago for me and I can already feel myself starting to lose interest because of the "childish" plot (not in a bad way, I just can't relate to the high school giddiness anymore) :')
