Loved this series. You can tell it's a pandemic production with an abysmal budget, but it's so funny and sweet! Akagi is so over-the-top, with everything being super exaggerated, making the story hilarious. To each their own, but idk why people see his performance as a reason to dislike the series.
only 6 episodes left...we know why the accident will happen now, but we don't know when. Honestly, if the accident doesn't happen by ep 22, I will never watch the last 2 episodes. I am so invested in these boys that I can't handle seeing them in the aftermath of the accident at the end of the season/series...it would just be too emotionally damaging.

Oh, good! I have been trying to figure it out across three different shows where it happens a lot :) I didn't know if it was a cultural thing or just a way of avoiding actual kissing between the characters without resorting to camera angel "kisses." Thanks for cluing me in!
I just don't get it. I've reduced my rating every week now. What is the deal with the weird sniff kisses? Why all the ridiculous musical tension every time folks show up and see them together? I get that he's not supposed to be with a freshman, but it's clearly not that serious. I thought this was supposed to have some romance or at least something more than this sad relationship (?) between Dino and Rak that has the chemistry and intimacy of a couple of 10-year-olds playing at being boyfriends. Chalarm, the cute little resident sloth boy, is the only character worth watching in this show and I'll keep watching it just in case they do something cute with his character, but this show was a waste of time (everyones'), and money (the studio's) so far.

Yes! If the guy who plays Su Yu was just acting like he can't dance, then he deserves the Golden Globe for that performance. It makes sense for the characters though since most of Su Yu's skills are mental while most of Wu Bi's are physical. I definitely look forward to seeing their performance at Duo's school!
I love that we are seeing more of the mom's side of things.. I am feeling a lot of empathy for her lately.
I feel a little bad for her because she is trying, but I can't sympathize too much since she was the one who decided not to be part of Su Yu's life for so many years.

I think he may have been more angry and hurt by how confusing things had become between them. Su Yu realizes already that he, himself, no longer has the same feelings for her. Then the whole thing of him getting attacked over her. Then the oddness of Wu Bi having his bodyguards watching them on their "date' to begin with. Then knowing that it's not in Wu Bi's nature to be deceptive if he had an interest in her. On top of all that, I think he is starting to have confusing and conflicted feelings toward Wu Bi. I mean, he knew Wu Bi would be coming to bring him home as soon as he got off the phone with him in the hotel room.
So...I think it was just the storm of emotions brought about by all of it. When Su Yu kept asking Wu Bi if he really liked her, it felt like it had little to do with who the girl was. Su Yu also hasn't been the type to stand in the way if he did think Wu Bi liked her.
I honestly didn't quite understand why Wu Bi didn't just blurt out that he like Su Yu in the restaurant, but then there was the conversation between Su Yu and Duo, so I assume the writers prefer to have Su Yu put the pieces together from that convo and realize Wu Bi's feelings on his own.

Yes! There was so much to love about EPs 9 & 10 because of those stares when they had the sparklers & the softer than a pillow & and Wu Bi wanting to cook for the person he loves...then 11 & 12....next week is so far away
