I am loving this show! For me, it's a pretty novel concept too. Really looking forward to next week! I wonder when his sister will find out she definitely broke the seal.
After watching the first two episodes, I don't even care if it ends up not being a bl anymore, I'm pretty sure I am going to absolutely love it, though I am troubled by part of the trailer.
Fully agree with all of it. I get him being a bit nervous about a first time with Shin, but how does a kiss on…
Yeah. I'm wondering what the heck the writers are thinking. I guess the desires Minato talked about having when he was Shin's age are just a distant memory. Once they move in together, surely this nonsense won't continue. There's gotta be only so much Shin is willing to take, but I guess that could be season 2's main conflict.
It's aired on GagaOOlala. Although the first episode was entertaining and mostly because of our 'adults' Shin…
Fully agree with all of it. I get him being a bit nervous about a first time with Shin, but how does a kiss on the cheek lead to panic after dating for 3 months. Shin is at least trying to build a romantic relationship, but the only thing Minato is trying is our collective patience. At this rate, Shin's sister will be the only one with a decent relationship.
Why is Akira acting scandalized by a cheek kiss from his boyfriend of 3 months, I don't want to see just a one…
Yes! It almost felt like he was even more awkward with Shin this time. I don't understand their relationship at all even though I adore them. At least with Asuka it makes sense because his boyfriend doesn't seem to connect with emotions well at all. I don't know any real person who would have put in as much effort as poor Shin for more than a year just to have their boyfriend still panic over a kiss.
1000% agree on this one. I feel a bit bad for liking it so much and watching the whole thing more than once. The last 30 minutes really hooked me and brought me back to watch it again. I have come across a lot of random people who like it but will only admit liking it in DMs.
am i the only one that think the kiss is fine. like isn't it normal for a first kiss to be awkward, particularly…
They just confessed their feelings to each other. Even being awkward, it doesn't make sense that their lips would barely even brush together. It was also a camera angle kiss, not a true kiss. I so dearly love this series, so I was disappointed in the lack of realism at that point. Better a real hug than a fake kiss.
While I can respect your opinions based on your watching experience I think it's also strange for you to assume…
I think she assumes it because it's generally true and often the reason for the camera angle kiss. Some BLs, like Lovely Writer, even point it out in the story line. The disappointment with the kiss scene is because it took 6 episodes to get to it and it wasn't even a real kiss. Two people who have just confessed their love don't barely brush lips when they kiss the first time, so it's very unrealistic and takes the viewer out of the moment. It may also have something to do with most BL actors who have public stated that their sexuality is gay or bi always have great kiss scenes, even in Korean BLs. I'm generally fine with straight actors playing the main characters in BLs, but I detest the fan service outside of the show where we should be able to see them as real people, but they are still performing as the characters despite using their real names.
The way the ex talked, it seemed like Tae Joon wasn't the only person he used, so he must be good at manipulating people. This way they also don't have to worry about the usual insecurity of the new boyfriend being as or less attractive than the ex, plus the audience would never have any reason to think that Won Young is below Tae Joons standards. That's just my take, though.
