If this was an american/Hollywood movie, we know SDM would have ended up with HJP. The story: the guy "hires"…
Yes but I don't think it's only Americans who understand that concept. I'm pretty sure the writer intended for it to be Jidal. A story in which the avatar gets the girl only makes sense if the real guy isn't a good person and the avatar is actually better. That's not the case with this drama, hence why I say that even if NDS hadn't been an avatar, he still wouldn't hold a candle to HJP in my opinion.
I think I may differ slightly to most Jidal fans regarding the letters. For me, the lost potential of this drama wasn't so much because of the letters storyline that fell flat but because of the mentor-mentee relationship established between SDM and HJP. I always saw the letters as just a far fetched plot device used by the writer to create the unlikely case of mistaken identity. Think about it, take out the letters and you've still got HJP's backstory with Halmoni and a very good romance story that was missed/dropped. I think if SDM and NDS really had been pen-pals and HJP had the same backstory minus the letters, HJP would still be the better match for SDM. It really wouldn't change a lot to be honest; it would just make the drama more plausible regardless of the ending.
Nice :) I'm supporting you. I feel something is off about the drama so Imma keep your comment in mind when I'm…
I think of it as though we never got the end to the first three quarters of this drama. It's like two dramas in one. Unfortunately, the second drama tainted the first drama because some scenes were added to make way for it.
