I was wondering that too. I love her character, however, is there any other bigger rolefor her in the storyline?…
thank you for your insight! I have been watching episodes without subtitles so I don't understand much up to episode 27, but I did manage to gather a little bit of info from just discussions. Is the male lead (Asule) interested in the other princess of the Yin Empire romantically or is it the princess who is? I haven't really been able to tell. I am hoping he is not, tbh. I am hoping to see Yuran go bad ass, but you are definitely right there would have be some time jump. I really loved seeing the aunt with her wings it was pretty awesome.
What is the purpose of Yu Ran in the story other than being a naive cute girl and a triangle between two leads?…
I was wondering that too. I love her character, however, is there any other bigger role for her in the storyline? I was hoping for her to want to restore her tribe or something. It would be pretty bad ass to see Yu Ran become determined to see her tribe again.
Honestly, I don't want the Emperor to die but I do believe he needs to be punished for his crimes. Princess Ari deserves to have her father who loves her even if he is behind bars. We can't blame Ari for her father's crime.
It really bothers me when we have a "forced kiss" or "forced contact" scene and they add a stupid love/soft song.…
The song isn't necessarily a love song (I personally believe). I think it's quite depressing and can be interpreted in many ways so I understand your opinion. This song really fits with his character (Emperor). For example, some lines say "Tell me It's not too late" or "How to get up again and continue protecting me." I found his actions revolting too (the forced kiss), but just wanted to give my personal opinion on the song.
Well its going down from here guys with the Emperor and Woo Bin with this latest episode . I honestly see a lot of people saying how can people be "stupid" to ship the Emperor and Sunny. Very impolite, but anyway I agree the Emperor lacks the usual heroic or moral qualities, but he is a complex character. If his character was this innocent man with a pure demeanor it would be boring (I personally believe). We all know that the Emperor is not a good person and this guy deserves to pay for his crimes so the funny and weird moments he receives are rare moments of humanity that make it all the more poignant.
Actually, I'm not surprised. People usually root for the bad guys and want the female lead to "save" their tortured…
@luminos I also do enjoy the sincere friendship and trust between Oh Sunny and Wang Shik it is very beautiful. However, I find it is very rare when the females lead desires are put secondary to save a villain usually it is the hero but in this case it is not. The complexity of the Emperor's character and the interest of the fans to see the Emperor be saved is complex in this case. We all do the desire for the main heroine to find her happiness, however, stories are meant to be unique and of course we would not want to put aside her happiness just to save the Emperor. I think fans are intrigued by the Emperor's recent actions and awesome character.
I am actually surprised that so many people want Sunny and the Emperor's relationship to progress romantically.…
I feel the same, Wang Shik and Sunny have beautiful chemistry but I personally don't see that chemistry as romantic. You are definitely correct the Emperor and Oh Sunny can never have a healthy relationship after everything that has happened and everything he's done. I just hope we see more Wang Shik and Oh Sunny together. The chemistry between the Emperor and Oh Sunny is more apparent to me (personally) whether its one sided.
Honestly the Emperor and Oh Sunny have way more chemistry AND I love Wang Shik with Oh Sunny their friendship is the cutest and how they care for one another but somehow I get like a sisterly/brotherly relationship here. Even when watching the scene with them at the dinner table or like scenes of Wang Shik getting jealous like it's dull. I find myself cheering for Wang shik but his romantic relationship with Oh Sunny feels like a brother-sister relationship.
I'm speculating perhaps Min Yu Ra and the previous Head Chief will want to expose Wang Shik because it was Wang Shik who ruined them and turned the Emperor against them.
for her in the storyline? I was hoping for her to want to restore her tribe or something. It would be pretty bad ass to see Yu Ran become determined to see her tribe again.
