Haha, for me it's just there. =P I don't really find it ugly, I'm not saying I like it, but it doesn't really bother me too much. But I can totally see how it'd bother other people. =P It does look fake.

There are a lot of cute moments like hand holding, and occasional face touching, and hugs, but most of it is just cute innocent skinship appropriate for high school. Also the only kiss so far is pretty much like a peck (only with bubble gum), so there's no making out or too touchy like what you'd see in american high school shows or movies.
