Niceee thoughts! Well you guys pretty much covered how you can not drop dramas but be done with it, and you guys wrote it very well at that. What I would like to comment on is, how to not judge the actor based on the drama you dropped or just skimmed through to get it done.
My experience, for example, is judging the actor Shin Se Kyung when I first saw her in the drama "The bride of Habaek". Well, the drama was not my cup of tea, and somehow I despised her character throughout. And well, I dropped watching it after 7 eps. But then, I decided to give another chance when I watched her very recent drama "Run On" and her acting felt spot-on!
One sentence: Try to give the actor another chance in another project if you don't like the drama you watched them in.
Well, that was a great experience! This drama had some of the most interesting and unique dynamics between characters…
I'm with you on that. We take translators for granted but really, like Oh Mi Joo says the translators "build a bridge" between two languages and that's how we understood their (translators) importance .
"You had no room for me in your heart,, but I tried getting greedy for once." - my favorite line from the entire…
To be honest, this show actually gave a lot of chances to our second lead when compared to the rest. I guess it's because in the webtoon Seo Jun and Ju Kyung actually date, but obviously we see that the writers of this drama decided against it.
aaahhh so many emotions were clubbed together in this last episode of my most favorite airing series: Run ON.
I ran for a season of Cross-Country, and mind me when I'm saying that I am NOT a runner. Things happened during the season which made me love running and being athletic (or least pretending to be one). The initial episodes of Run On, reminded me of my haggard breathing and raspy moments to get to run 3 miles. And also, the pure joy of finishing those 3 miles while sweat and snot is running down your head. Sorry, didn't meant to be gross.
There were so many little concepts and values behind every little scenes that Run On displayed and despite being the little things they were very significant. As Run On came to an end, it seemed to be that the drama had a very unconventional way to wrap things up but it does not seem rushed or even forced as a matter of fact.
Every dialogue spoken was written keeping the overall theme and genre in mind and that really helped the scenes wrap up very well and THAT was indeed their unconventional way; admire it very much!
Worth giving it a try, even though it's not your cup of tea. 10/10
I swear I'll never be able to get over the "Code Name Candy" series in Run On...though it was only while she was translating the script, it was way too hilarious and such a sweet way of bringing in Ki Seon Gyeom's mom into the whole picture.
You know like we don't refer to her as Ki Seon Gyeom's mom, instead as the actress Yook Ji Woo, having an identity of her own, I like how they portrayed that...
I tried to run today. Gave up in 5 minutes. I walked then I ran again. I lasted 7 minutes the next time. I walked…
I admire you buddy, really....after Ki Seon Gyeom taught Oh Mi Joo how to run, I found myself teaching my sis the other day saying, "You know eggs right? So imagine you're holding eggs when you try to run" Lollll

P.S. Do we know who Ryan really is?!
