I too fast paced The First Frost. Watched it just for Bai Jing Ting. Also The snowstorm of Love. That bored me to death.

You are right. I watched a few clips of hidden love and I felt like throwing up. I'm all up for Romantic genre,but that was too much fluff, and viewers have rated that 9.1. That was shocking to me.

Yeah! Maybe. I simply watched it due to its high ratings. I have found myself not liking shows with very high ratings. 😒

I appreciate your reply. Honestly I didn't feel this drama as much as others did. It was fine, but mostly I was just skipping the scenes n parts of it while watching.

The ending was fine. I have no complaints as such. It's just that it could have come much earlier than It's original time. The leap was neither needed nor did it add any value to the drama.

I second you. Female Lead is the glue that keeps everything going well in this drama. She's really different from what we have seen so far in many Chinese dramas.

Your review is so relatable to what I experienced. The leads' overbearing romance was nearly suffocating and smothering to the point that I started forwarding their romantic and cozy moments. The serious doctor suddenly turns into some head over heels in love guy who buys comfy slippers for the girl on her first day of work. I so agree that the PDA was way too much. The second leads were the only reason that I could sit through the whole show.

Indeed, second leads were the only good thing that happened to this drama. I too forwarded the oh so fluffy scenes between the Main leads just to watch the 2nd leads' scenes. Most of the times the ML treats the FL like a little baby. In the 27th episode when ML introduces the FL to his family, he was still giving light strokes to the back of her head as if she's a child. It was way too annoying to see that.

Seriously man, I lost it when she volunteered to go with the Earthquake Relief group, just to be with the dude. She even didn't care to see her cousin off while the hospital's medical team was leaving. . I find their romance somewhat suffocating.
