no one’s wishing it on yichan. but some ppl pushing for it to never happen to the extend of saying chungah said “appa” that once what if she regains speech and all is well in 2023, seems very ableist. yichan losing his hearing is surely sad but it’s not the end of the world. some things are meant to happen regardless of how hard you try to change it

but in a way this is not the worst. bc regardless of yichan wanting his dad to not lose his hearing, that would COMPLETELY change their lives in 2023. if he goes to college and continues with music, yichan’s whole life could go a diff way. and just bc they’re dating as highschoolers there’s no surety that they’d end up marrying… so in a way this is just ending all the unpredictability and tying up eungyeol’s story i feel
