classic revenge action drama I guess
it was a revenge crime drama. uhhhh I don't know if it's because the women were missing but this was literally just seven episodes of clap boom bang i'm a man and i am mad so i'm gonna kill you because it's a gang rule. everything was so predictable and a bit bland...honestly, given the cast i was disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?

This is how you do promising rom-coms but fumble the end
This could have been one of my top dramas this year to date but those last two episodes really fumbled the bag. Head over Heels had it all; interesting plot, great execution of the fictional ghost world, great characters, crazy chemistry and good pacing but then in the last two episodes they completely threw over board what they established in the 8 episodes before?? Why?I didn't understand any of the plot in epsiode 11 and 12 and the way they ended the story with both seongha and gyeonu staying alive didn't make any sense to me. Especially irritating to me was that while Bongsu was in either Gyeonu or Seonghas body in the 2 years after graduation, nobody really seemed to be actively doing something about it because "there was nothing to do". Instead we got a fashion show, a school reunion, a few scenes of Jiho, Gyeonu and Bongsu (in Seonghas body) just hanging out as if Seonghas body just didn't return out of nowhere and gyeonu/ Jiho just along with it knowing Seongha is in danger? And then in the last episode they suddenly do have a way out by sacrificing themselves and Seongha only needing to pray a bit for her powers to come back and find bongsus real name and safe everybody....as if they never bothered to try any of this for two full years and just sat around being sad saying, "theres nothing we can do". Those were some very weak plot progression choices that ended up underwhelming me in the final episode. So 8 stars instead of 10 because they just had to be that extra in the final run :((((

My forever favourite!
I will never get over the relationship of Qiqi and Xiao Fei. The scenes of them together in ep 19 I believe? Mean so so much to me.
My second favourite relationship would be Qiqi's with Zhao Jun. The two of them are so much more than friends turned to love interest. To me they are a pretty accurate picture of 'soulmates'.
I am still reading the web novel and for now I have to say that the series adaption is very close to the novel and I almost like the series more I think.<3

What was this plot?
I was really excited for this show because I love some of the works from both actors but actually what was this plot?It started pretty solid in the first few episodes but I think the lack of chemistry and the constant micro issues that were resolved within a matter of a few scenes were what had me rate this drama only 5.5.
They overdid the "baby boss" concept for Juyeon to the point I literally viewed him as this 15 year old student even in the present time, which kind of ruined the whole "responsible young ceo with an older gf" concept.
The second thing that pissed me off is that one of the main plot points in this show is the confession scene, and the "trauma" that resulted for the both of them from that. Picking this as the main clashing issue between the characters was really weird because, call me shallow, but this wasn't that deep. So when they used this trauma as the reason for their break up i found it so rediculous I almost stopped watching.
Didn't the both of them fall for the present , grown up version of themselves? I found it very weird that Sujeong took it so serious to break up because of this. I get that she wanted someone to rely on, which she didn't really have her whole life but come on...by that point in time Juyeon was able to fulfill that conditon already.
And lastly, what I mentioned in the beginning, is that the last half of this drama was full of conflicts that seemed serious but they solved by just talking a bit in the same episode. That took the whole tension and seriousness away, I found that pretty disappointing. Sad, because I usually like the actors projects and this one just wasn't it.
