Yeah i thought exactly as you. I actually appreciated the fl-centric plot - since he’s already established as a renowned and skilled general, if the spotlights on him, solving fl’s enemies, it could overshadow the FL’s growth

as a general ego and morale is really important.. CY’s actions on Li really harmed his pride. I actually thought it was good of him to not get too emotional and state that they wont be seeing each other again.. idk if he becomes a villain or not but what a waste :( they were really building a good frendship
