i should've waited until this was finished airing to start watching omfg. too addictive

everyone in this drama is an idiot lmao

on episode 6 and although i love the female lead, i despise the way the king's concubine is written. it's almost 2026- haven't we progressed past these shallow depictions of scheming, jealous women? out of all the potential antagonists in this show, the fourth junior consort gets the most screen time, yet has absolutely no depth as a character. i hope the next episodes either feature her a lot less, or at least offer some explanation as to why she is the way she is

love how this series takes the scheming and jealous sfl trope and turns it on its head

just finished episode 11 and wow am i losing interest. this drama was great at first but now it's become one of the most predictable series i've ever seen. even for a miniseries. and the female lead, who i loved at first, has become absolutely insufferable. and this story is full of holes. ugh
