YES i agree 😭its concerning how many younger people who should probably focus on their childhoods first going into the industry not gonna lie - i do love omar but i think the stress would be too much if he does get in, i hope he does get in but at least let him finish school first or something
is it just me or i feel like those around hu yetao (mainly yuchen and yao zihao) we don't know anything much about them as an individual? the show mostly focuses on yetao everytime yuchen and zihao are there, which makes me curious about yuchen and zihao's own personality and them as a person, because we never get to focus on then because its all on yetao :< i do love them all i just wished chuang is able to at least give some sort of screen time and get rid of some of the bias, but thats just how the show works unfortunately 😭
also i sometimes find comments on posts about other members, and they're all about yetao or the carrot family. i love the support, but the disrespect to constantly fill the comment section of other contestants about people who aren't them is quite disrespectful in any context, no matter if its chuang, or another show or anything. i love the carrot family too, but i've seen instances where its a post about xiong, shen or any other contestant, but the comment section is about hu yetao? it just doesn't make sense to me - i know he's famous and he's too good (love himm) but i wish people just remembered basic respect along with supporting their favourites

my thoughts on the yi gong first public performance stages:
stage designs have not much effort put into it (expect the fabric one but they didn't think about the shadows which made it kinda funny) so they had to constantly bring out random ahh pink stuff fireworks or smth idk - there are set aesthetics but they always clash with the beach which is why the night time stages are generally better due to being able to manipulate the stage with the feel they want to go to
the poor audience can't see a lot of the stages and the idea of it being on the beach just throws me off, the weather conditions and how the audience will see the performance would be heavily impacted
vocals and dance are all good, nothing special (oh maybe the splits that were randomly thrown in and felt really out of place)
it somewhat seems like mango suddenly lost all their budget and had to move outside 😭i hope cmbf s5 won't be like this
conclusion: i'm going back to the previous seasons i don't hate s6, i just generally don't like the performances although they have a lot of talent, i'm just not sure if they are showing them in the right way. these are my thoughts just based off watching the performances themselves, i haven't watched the actual episodes so that might be another thing!
