there was a former idol in season 1 too this isn't new

i like this show but its shocking how little consideration there is for the cast's mental wellbeing.

On episode 2 and the sound editing on this show is absolutely horrid and so distracting

I hate that the acting and execution are actually great because that just makes me more dissapointed in the fact that they went basically shot for shot remaking it instead of bringing something truly fresh to the table. I still enjoyed it but man, the potential this had. I'm hoping for some surprises in the second half of the season whenever that drops.

It's not even a bad drama to me, i'll give it an 8 based on my own scoring system. However the sudden lack of focus on the main couple and the conflift between them not being fleshed out was just such a dissapointment, the weather topic was really interesting at first but to push the main couple story to the side to make room for a weekly weather broadcast was a silly move in my opinion. I signed up for work romance, not just work.

I knew the characters where going to be mostly unlikeable with a premise like this but i really didnt expect to end the show rooting for no one. Out of everyone Sae Byeok deserved to win the most in my opinion but they just let her die because women cant have anything. If Gi Hun had at least made the most of winning I wouldnt feel so annoyed but he spent a year feeling sorry for himself and then instead of going to his daughter he decides to be STUPID and try and play hero by going back to the games, nobody has ever deserved nice things less.

for anyone that's read the webtoon, was it mentioned why the characters would sometimes wear headphones when fighting monsters or was it just a weird thing the show added and didn't explain?

Okay i've watched the first 2 eps but i've literally forgotten so much of the webtoon that I don't even remember who soo jin is let alone most of the plot points :( someone thats up to date with the webtoon please summarize whats happened under a spoiler!

If they where going to do go with a death storyline then they should have just left it at that, because up until the last 5 minutes it was a very touching episode even if it wasn't what I wanted. Now I just can't look past the fact that Jun had his mother tell his girlfriend, a fragile old man and everyone who loved him that he died and had them mourn him for 5 years and he just comes back like that's something normal to do. Man am I annoyed.

I'm not being antagonistic, i'm stating the truth. There isn't a single comment section be it here, reddit, tumblr or twitter that I have been on where the majority of Ji Pyeong fans haven't been awful.

In all my years of watching kdrama's, I've never seen anything as bizarre as the Ji Pyeong fans. They are quite literally creating a different show in their minds because absolutely nothing you people say is rooted in the reality or canon of the show, it's a little disturbing at this point. Today alone I've seen Do San be called unprofessional, abusive, seen him be laughed at because I guess only orphans are allowed feelings and so much other shit and I just don't understand where this is coming from? Han Ji Pyeong has stopped Do San on 2 separate occasions that I can recall from telling Dal Mi the truth only to decide he should do it because he liked her now, that's a manipulator and a liar so why is Do San getting all the hate for something Ji Pyeong is doing just as much if not worse? To see him treated with kid gloves because he has a barely tragic backstory is pathetic and if his fans hate the show and the characters so much then just drop it and wait for Kim Seonho to book a lead role because ya'll are unbearable.
