I loved it! Sure. I can see why people think the maffia theme was represented in a kind of soft way and that the sexual side of this series was scarse, especially if you have to compare it to the novel. BUT! This has to be one of my favorite series when it comes to a kinda healthy mature romance. The characters actually communicated well, respected boundries and trusted each other throughout the relaitionship. I actually liked that the sex part of their relaitionship was protrayed in a quite subtle and realistic way, yes the BDSM part left some things desired to be perfect. But there was no pushing the agenda and I also feel that this was a nice way to portray that sex only happend when they both actually wanted it and were comfortable with it. even the kissing felt realistic in the way that they rarely did it considering theres was almost always people around.
It's not perfect and if you came here soley for the BDSM and sex than yes, you'll be disappointed. but I really recommend watching it, especially just for the character development and how they handle their problems in mabye the least toxic way I've ever seen in a BL so far.

THANK YOU! I feel like the title could work either way because I honestly don't feel like anything relating to the story or characters would need to change. they could still have a loving relationship with each other, just one that is consesual and actually proper for each of the alters.
I actually love the concept and had no problem following the story tbh. The ONE SINGLE thing they had to do for me to give it a 100/10 was to let the 5 y/o alter BE A KID and have some BOUNDRIES and let the 28 y/o be the one who's the romantically and sexually active one! Like how am I supposed to like this story now that I know that the male lead CHOSE to continue to be sexually active with a 5 y/o even after talkink to the doctor!? like just because he is in a grown up body it's suddely okay!???? I'm honestly so dissapointed because all they had to do for this to be a masterpiece was let the ADULTS be the romantic partners!
