Where did u watched yours? I watched on the official app and the sound quality is good for me. For me, the series ain't perfect, there's some..choices that makes me questioned stuff as well. But I still feel it's quite good given I already have these info in my head while watching...first, they shot this whole series in only 6 days (that's why it feels rushed like u said, if only they spent more time). 2nd, the language barrier. It's interesting to see people reviews (of different pov from mine) of this series, so thank you for this :)

James never said he doesn't want to be labeled as a bl actor or anything like that. He just has many dreams he wants to try to achieve before he turned 30, that's what he said actually. (Well, those are among the many factors that led to his career change; mental health is one of the factors as well). Don't say stuff that he never said, bcus people will actually use that against him 🙏🏻

It's a mini series. Usually, that's how it is in China, many mini series took only around a week to film. It will have 50 episodes according to DMD's update today. Since it's a mini series, the length will be only a few minutes per episode.

It's not weird for him to start taking acting projects again, even if the filming periods are lengthy. Because let me stressed again; he already took 2 years break. Stop living in the past, and also do yourself a favor and fact check before saying untrue things

He just took a break from filming lengthy acting projects (specifically as main roles, because that would take most of his time), and it's been almost 2 years now he took that break to pursue other things, he has many things he wanna do before he turned 30. And he did achieved many things - first art exhibition (he recently said 2nd exhibition probably will be held next year), debuted in tpop boygroup DEXX (even won an award in China), his own brand BlackDaisy has been active more than ever (products launch every month, collab with established brand, consistently joining offline vendors events), etc. He also got casted as main lead in Chinese mini series, Twin Flames that has wrapped filming in May - still hasn't aired though. Next year, he will be in Mr Fanboy, the first villain role he ever played. So, safe to say I think he's doing everything he loves right now. He's reaching his goals one by one. I do hope he will have the time & opportunity to be a main lead in a regular length series again in future.

I hope he will slowly get back to doing full series soon, but right now he's busy with his boygroup. Net already changed partner for a year already. To each their own but I like seeing James without partner, he seems more free and happy.
