I watched it via CCTV8 and got to say, I'm quite endeared by Tang San. There's only been one episode so far so…
I'm personally really impressed by the CGI! From my experience, CGI for Chinese dramas isn't the best, so I didn't have high expectations going in. I'd say it's probably better than most other dramas & the Untamed--it looked really good to me (although I'm only halfway through ep 1 at the moment). I heard somewhere that they retouched the CGI after XZ gained popularity from the Untamed, and if it's true I think it definitely shows.
