One of the best executions of Meta Storytelling I have ever seen!
I am so surprised that coming across this was purely an accident and the fact that I started it was just based on a whim. It was fantastic and fantastical.
1. Starting with a world different from ours was a stroke of genius because you truly get swept up in a story and don't really pay attention to the overall movement or the meta story. When the stories started changing one by one, and they started adding those little clips, i wondered if I was just looking at bts shots of the show or it's just a little gag. This story (stories) drew me in like a moth to a flame
2. Mick and Top are amazing, I hope to see them cast in other shows together because their chemistry is truly amazing. The sheer number of stories and scenarios they were able to act out and the dynamics changed constantly yet played beautifully was truly amazing. I would love to see a bigger production of them together and a meaty and intense storyline for them to chew on
3. The music was a minimal and yet added such a dramatically different vibe to every story, it was plain and wonderful. loved it
I want to give myself and the story some time together, and I'll rewatch this for sure. Added to one of my all time favs. not even exaggerating.
