Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
Last comment lol. I just wish they took more time before they separate. Just show that HD mentioned to BJ how…
Maybe it’s good that the breakup wasn’t long drawn out, more like a bandaid ripped off quickly. That way we saw more sweet moments between the characters.

Seems like people still love the outdated I-will-annoy-you-till-you-like-me plot. In today’s day and age, the whole smart but submissive female lead going along with the bullying of the entitled rich male lead feels a bit out of place. All in all, Kim Se Jeong and Lee Deok Hwa were pretty good in their roles. Ahn Hyo Seop just can’t act!

Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
We are not obsessed with happy endings..we wanted a proper closure. Which was not provided.. they should have…
There was no real indication that they were still in love years later. At least that wasn’t my understanding. If you have ever parted with someone on good terms you’ll know that there can be mutual respect for years to come and one can wonder what life would’ve been like if they made a different choice. I guess I got closure from this story because it wasn’t a “love story” to begin with. It was a coming-of-age drama that was more about uplifting the ones you love and letting go when needed. NHD was a successful gold medalist and BYJ became an ace anchor. That’s a pretty good ending to a story that started out with only struggles! ✌🏼

Absolutely agree with your comments! The journey which each character embarked on was so special, and I loved how the ending was equally operatic.

Don’t understand the MDLs obsession with a “happy ending”. The story was absolutely where it needed to be and it was a masterpiece from start to finish!

I can not find this on my Disney+ at all! Am i missing something? Im in US
It is only available in certain countries and doesn’t include the US right now. They may release it after the show has finished airing, like what they did with Snowdrop!

Song Kang is a virus actresses should be aware off. He's really very bad at acting. I always skip some of his…
@superuser Your post is 100% accurate! Couldn’t have said it better myself. To be honest, Song Kang’s scenes in Sweet Home are the least memorable. It was all Lee Jin Wook & Lee Do Hyun! As for Nam Joo Hyuk, every drama he is in, he gets overshadowed by someone else. At least he picks good scripts. Nothing wrong with a pretty face but it should come with some acting chops 😅

Mi Jo’s conversation with Seon U’s dad-
I don’t know why a strong educated independent women like Mi Jo became so timid in front of Seon U’s dad. I get that there is respect but she keeps getting insulted.

Regarding alcohol one. I agree these characters drink too much alcohol. Happy or sad whatever the occasion is.…
This does seem to have more drinking than an average kdrama. Or maybe the drinking scenes are long drawn out!

A bit late but I finally finished Squid Game- it was mediocre at best! Wonder how many people liked it because it was trendy? This doesn’t make the cut in my top 10 kdramas of 2021!

AHS is the first actor that didn’t make me cringe when speaking English
He spent 10 years of his youth in Canada :)

Thanks. Netflix transitions always bugs me because certain statements makes it seem uncharacteristic of YJ. YJ…
Netflix subtitles are the worst! To the point where if I’m highly anticipating a show, I hope for it to be on viki instead. They crowdsource subtitles so it take a bit of time, but it’s more true to the actual emotions and dialog portrayed.

That was so weird! Not sure if the whole locking arms was meant to be funny but it just seemed so awkward.

Title Thirty-Nine
Something doesn’t feel right about this show. Maybe it’s how the emotions are portrayed or the decisions people make, or maybe the constant drinking. It doesn’t feel believable! The only ‘real’ emotional scene to me was when Mi Jo first broke down in Jin Seok’s office….

Wow 100% agreed! Thanks for saying this! Yoon Park is really doing justice to his role, and Song Kang is over…
Right? I sort of liked his dual role in You Are My Spring. Really hoping for him to get a strong main lead role soon.
