not everyone will like the same thing.
i didn't say i was confused people enjoyed it, but confused that people were leaving reviews calling it one of the best bls ever. obviously that's their opinion and they're entitled to it, same as i am to disagree and express that. i did say i found it decent, i'm really not looking for an argument.

To them it might be best. People have different opinions and taste why judge someone else?
i wasn't judging anyone else, i just disagree.

Please tell me... I found a spoiler from the novel where Hira got hurt. Is it really in the novel? And what about…
it's true, but everyone is fine, no need to worry lol

I was enjoying this series, but I totally lost interest in Ep 6 and dropped it. I'm getting to that stage where…
agreed, it completely lost its way with episode 6, they just gave up with every single thing that was being set up throughout. this and a lot of thai bl's seem to just give up on the plot halfway and think audiences will be fine with just meaninglessly cute or unnecessarily angsty scenes between the pairing. it's honestly a bit insulting.

i was initially really enjoying this. it was notably lacking in some areas such as with some poor editing choices and the pretty surface level approach to the issues it tackled, but i appreciated the attempts at a storyline with more depth, and the longer episodes *really* worked in its favour. it was genuinely engaging and i was fully invested compared to most romances. however, the disappointing writing in the final episode really ruined it and made the rest feel worse too. all that build up for nothing... i think the first time-skip scene was unnecessary as the scene could have easily happened while they were still at school, and that would have been a perfectly good and promising open ending on its own. the epilogue set a further two years later was so strange that its not really even worth mentioning. i guess it's more like a "bonus" than part of the story? but even as a bonus it's not giving much... overall a decent and engaging series ruined by an incredibly unfulfilling conclusion.

Great analysis, thank you! This is one of the things that bothered me too, I'm so in love with this drama but they really could have been smarter about techniques like framing and lighting to make the most of their limited budget, it's really annoying to constantly be thinking "this could have been done better" about something you love. My biggest lighting issue is in the scene with the big animatronic dog in the dungeon early on. So many people make fun of how shoddy the dog looks, but as a practical effects enjoyer who has seen the absolute worst of practical monsters, I'd say pretty confidently that the issue wasn't really with the design of the dog, but the stupidly bright lighting and wide framing! When watching old low budget television shows or movies with shoddy practical effects, even the most ridiculously silly looking monsters can come across as scary or unsettling with dark enough lighting, close ups, and purposeful framing that don't reveal too much of the creature. Instead they choose to use full shots that make it clear that the animatronic cant even move its feet...? So frustrating TT
