I agree with you on the significance of the butterfly in the story. It makes sense that it would be the one who's guiding him into becoming a WU♥️
But I also think (only if I guess right that is) Pete is not the butterfly since he's not time-travelling or anything like that. He's entering the yao prison to look for Niran's wandering soul where he will see Niran's memories.
For example, for the first situation, it'll turn out to be like what happens in Interstellar movie (transcending time) or grandfather paradox (time-travel). For the situation which is gonna happen in the next episode, it's almost similar like what happens in Erha.
When Chu Wanning loat his life after saving Mo Ran, Mo Ran physically travels to the underworld using the soul calling lantern to locate and bring back CWN's lost & broken soul. Likewise Pete is gonna spiritually travel to the Yao Prison(I don't remember the exact name of the place) using their soul bond/thread to locate and bring back Niran's lost and wandering soul back to his body.
Maybe Niran will also remember what happened in that world and what Pete had done to bring him back as it is Niran's own memory prison (or smth like that). Same same but different😌
The fight scenes as well as emotional scenes were soo good, I love both seasons♥️
The only problem is that the police are portrayed as soo weak that even just one deadly boxer can kill them in one go( who was defeated by just another boxer). I'm pretty sure that the crime investigation unit's members & other police officers didn't join the service just by passing a written test🫠🤌🏻
And it's basic logic that they keep a gun with them especially if they're gonna face a wanted criminal and they have the right to shoot his legs...
As I've seen in many dramas with the way the police fight the criminals with that stick, I think one blow will do severe injuries to them. Is that stick that powerful?? Lemme go google it🏃🏻♀️
Tbh I didn't have much expectation for this show, but just Ep1 was enough to make me want for more😩🔥 The plot looks good and the acting looks top notch🔥 I love Fuaiz's hair colour😌♥️
