I understand how new Omegaverse watchers/readers might feel uncomfortable with certain scenarios or might have trouble understanding some cases. You can always ask what's this what's that! There aren't any omegaverse dramas before ABO Desire so it is a bit confusing context for everyone and people keep missing how different it is from other mainstream BLs. (No PITBABE is not actual omegaverse). The storyline will get better soon and you will understand everything (hopefully the editor doesn't mess up because i heard they cut a LOT of scenes especially from the childhood) The next episodes are gonna be good trust me. i agree with you at some point... I was also upset with the lights especially during GT and SWL scenes the light was so... BRIGHT... compared to HY and SSY !!!! the direction and editing could be better and Nong Jian apologised for it since it's their first time directing. I am enjoying as long as I can see the chemistry

mating syndrome or mate seeking syndrome is only targeted towards the specific alpha/omegas. You must truly like them. which is why he had uncontrollable urge during his rut which made him chain himself. Those two people they were C and D graded omegas (NOVELWISE) so they felt the oppressive pheromones (same things happened with Wenlang) ONLY shaoyu can handle his pheromones during rut no alphas or betas can beat with it.

About the doctors, X HOLDINGS has their shares on HECI (if i am not very wrong but my brain might play with me :P) the doctors can't say much because of how much authority Hua Yong has. In novel they indeed hesitated to treat him and even scolded him (you should try the novel) haha they didn't show it for time purpose ig

actually the doctors and rescuers in the omegaverse universe knows it all... i mean how the whole hierarchy works and how pheromone works. The rescuers and Doctors are most likely beta (there are alpha doctors too idk if they will show it) so they are not quite sensitive to pheromones. I get your point but we gotta remember that Sheng Shaoyu is popular in Jianghu and they know he is alpha. Plus Changyu was there too. When higher authority (alpha) is there I don't think lower authorities (beta and omegas) would interfere with their decisions

Whatever he did was to make Shaoyu like him because he knew the pride of S tier alpha is so big that he wont ever accept the dating proposal let alone having a baby with Enigma. so he resorted to lies. I am not defending his behavior but in Omegaverse it is natural to seek partners during going through Rut. In the X hotel Hua Yong did it because he had mating syndrome which makes him want to go and eat his partner his one and only love and those lil thiefs opened the door. Enigmas have better senses such as smell or hearing so he had a smell of Shaoyu's Pheromone and yeah he got the "controversial-yet-not-really" scene. You cant blame Hua Yong tho because he has been abusing Pheromone Changing med on himself which is in lab trial
About the collapse scene, It is Omegaverse and Enigmas are on the top of the pyramid. They have faster healing power than anyone (you will understand in future eps) and heightened senses. So yeah if it was reality you or me would be de/ad but Hua Yong has much much faster Recovery Rate than Shaoyu. Thats why even though he was in pain (he did feel pain but the pain of losing Shaoyu after doing so much was far worse to him). You cant compare a fantasy world to reality
