I think Karakade grew to be violent and vicious because she was an orphan, and in her home land, her servants said she was bullied regularly. Therefore my theory is to protect herself from hurt, she hurt others first. She should have known better, but no one taught her better. Then she came to this place set in the drama, and they didn't like her either. Shame. Of course she'd be on the defensive. Then the man she had to marry had another woman already, so she just went right over the edge. Didn't her servant in ep 3 say most of her jewels were stolen? I can't think of her letting stealing go, especially when she had to fight for everything she had since her parents died. Maybe this is some explanation for her behavior. The people around her didn't help, though she was at fault for her actions. I actually prefer her rather than the crying, weeping, weak victim women usually are in Thai drama when they have a life like that described above. Yea, but she was extremely vicious, like a caricature.
I'm on ep 3 and I don't like the male lead. I want his friend to see female lead and fall in love and marry her and take her away. Am I the only one? I really dislike Por Date and his family. They want to control everything about her, how she eats, walk, dress, when she can speak or not. Is she a Lord's daughter or a slave in their house? And I'm convinced they find fault in everything she does simply because they don't like her, not that she is wrong. Am I right? I hate his mother more than I hate other ML's mom in other Thai dramas.
And I got bad 2nd ML syndrome. I ship her with Reung.
When Nang'ek played the role of Nang rai in ep 2, that was funny but I also questioned what I was watching an should I continue. From there it got 20% funnier hahaha
And I keep getting distracted by the ML's ill fitting suits.
The ML in Kleun Cheewit is a better actor, and his character fell hard for the FL way before the ending. That story also showed how he cared for her and struggled with his guilt. Yaya is also a better (and prettier in my opinion) actress with lots more facial expression and range of emotion.
This drama? Suddenly everyone is telling FL that the ML likes her, and we are supposed to believe it despite not seeing it for the whole show. Plus, Yaya's and Mark 's characters had a modern, private relationship going on, behind which he was aggressive. In this one, the whole house is aware that the ML is abusing the FL, yet they all claim to be good people who like FL and don't try to stop it. They condone it instead and tell her ML loves her. I didn't know sex equals love, but in dramaland, as long as its ML and FL, apparently it does. *eye roll*
I want to watch others like this. Really cute and sweet, no breaking up, understanding and supportive couple, just an all round smooth and good relationship with lots more than love to carry it.
Thanks, but I know where to get the Thai dramas straight from the subbers. it's just sometimes they don't sub the ones I'd like to try out. I'm grateful for their work, but I'd also like to see more on Netflix so the dramas can have a chance to stand out on a more open and international stage. Maybe legal one too. lol.
