Lots of bad reviews but I found this drama to be really good. No it doesnt stop the sageuk world but, i really enjoyed it. I love historical fantasies. Give it a try, dont worry much about the reviews.
best chinese drama voice actin is gd, i think some parts dubbed but not fuckin awful like 99% of chinese drama
Yes, the dubbing on Chinese dramas usually makes me drop them. But this one is pretty accurate. Some scenes make your skin crawl but not to the point of ruining it.

Youre dead on. It is all of these things. If you are confused as to how they relate, you have to watch! It really is superb. Plus, they had a HUGE budget and used it very wisely.
Kwon Yool has such a cute little face. I love when he plays despicable characters because you would never guess it with that face!
I suggest giving this drama a try. I didnt want to for a while, but found myself unsure of what to watch next and this one is good if you arent looking for anything too serious. I loved the beginning. Final few episodes became very dry and a little boring. Final episode wrapped it all up nicely.
I am on episode 7, but I had to stop watching in the middle. I havent really cared for this drama even up until this point, but it has some decent actors in it so I was giving it a shot. Honestly, I am kind of disappointed in JIW. He is in so many of my favorite dramas and this one, leaves a lot to be desired. I am considering dropping this one. I have thought I could put it on hold and I might still but the truth is, I will probably move on and drop it. The story line could have potential, but ruined with Park So Dam, IMO and the lack of depth. She isnt a bad actress, the script is just notsogood and her acting in this particular drama makes my skin crawl. I am starting to see I am not the only one that feels that way. I will see if I pick up episode 7 and go further. For now, I can say this drama just isnt my thing.

Funny, I was just saying that outloud yesterday. Even in my country they rarely bring up male breast cancer which is still a staggering issue for both sexes. SK! Fighting!
I placed as a 10 not only because I would give it a 10 even without knowing the end, but because I want to tip the scales a bit. A lot of other crappier dramas, IMO get at least an 8.9 or more based on their bias being in it, but a funny, mature drama with actors over the age of 30 get a 7.9??? Crappy.
