Some people could in fact be turned off. Some could believe in love even more so now. I think this drama will effect you more by whatever stage you are in life. As a Noona, and as someone who has dated someone 7 years younger in the past, it hit a few chords in remembrance. It reminds me that life in your mid 30s is awkward and in the middle. You're in between youth and possibly falling out if it without grace like our work Ahjussi. Lmao. At any rate, a super hot, sweet and manly hoobae is always the best scenario and I know viewers my age in our lives, love this drama.

Article 6 Highly Rated Korean Dramas I Dropped
I dropped quite a few that others loved like: oh my Venus, Signal, Pinnochio, City Hunter, and honestly a lot in that time frame. That was when dramas were transforming and I wasn't into the direction they were unsure of. Anyway, some I don't like but I watch anyway begrudgingly. Like I'm trying to find the passion. It took me forever to watch the Masters Sun. Eventually, I did love that one, though. FYI.
