I really loved this drama...but still this time jump doesn't make any sense AT ALL.
Recover mentally?? O.o c'mmn wouldn't he be healed faster if he was with his lover??also he completely had it in control this time so a WHOLE year away was unnecessary. Also YS would never say that. She knows how painfull it is for him to drink his lover's blood. And i really think everyone els could find themselves without him disappearing for a year! So the time gap here, in my opinion, was completely unnecessary and illogical! :)
