There’s a lot of questions for sure. Like so is the reason why the company keeps wanting Taesang back is because to keep experimenting on him? Since the test subjects couldn’t pass the next phase. And it seems the next phase was to control the mutated ones. (which Taesang could do in the last ep) I wonder if that will play a big role if we get a S3.
Also, we actually don’t see Taesang or Chae Ok living through the times. All that loneliness and guilt.
Can someone explain again what happened? The world got frozen along with everybody and ye qingmei was one of the few who got out? Fan Xian was an experiment? So is anybody real aside from Ye Qingmei and Fan Xian or are they just the ones who has memories of the present? But isnt the present (the one where Fan Xian dies on the hospital bed) also the past if the world got frozen. Im close to finishing season 1 and have already finished season 2 (i know, weird)
Does anyone know the title of the bgm they play during some important scenes? Most of the time its wan er and FX moments but it also played when the emperor touched FX’s hands.
I had doubts about whether CJH could handle the more emotional scenes but ep 8 proved to me he can. Ep 9 is looking to be more emotional for all our characters.
What this drama does best regarding its looming threat is that no one is safe. Jung dad may not be as physically advantageous but he’s smart and knows the law and that’s scary.
Is no one curious about mokha’s voiceovers? She always addresses them to Kiho and from my observation it’s after she got saved from the island and not during.
This is my first CJH drama and I’m liking him so far as the tsundere Bogeol but I’ve been wondering if he can also do heavy scenes. If he is Kiho (yes I still have doubts even after ep6) then we’re bound to have his POV sometime in the future and that’s going to be very emotional. I can’t wait to see the next eps. I have so many questions.
Such a wonderful show! I zoomed through ep 1-27 and finally caught up with the scheduled eps. That’s how addicting and immersive this drama is. I haven’t felt that way for a cdrama in a long while.
I’m looking at the episode count though and we’re already at ep 32 but it feels like we have so many plots and questions left. Does anyone know if this has a second season?
So I’m going to speak out what’s been bothering me. I’ve watched till ep 32 now and ever since the Heroes, conference finished it’s like the editing has become lousy, the music is played in the wrong times (yes i dont like the new songs), we’re moving onto sets more rather than real locations which lowers the production quality that the first few eps gave us, the fighting choreography has laxed and someone pointed out the pacing. Sometimes it feels like a different show after the Heroes Conference. We’re down to our last 4 eps and nothing has been resolved. I feel like they need more episodes to fully tell this story. The leads are what’s saving this show and i still love this show but it really has obvious flaws especially this last few eps. Here’s to hoping this gives us a HE.
Can someone spoil the novel? I’ve read all the translated chapters and yet when I look at the trailer there are still so many scenes that aren’t on these chapters. This might be because they’re changing things from the novel or it’s in the non-translated chapters. Also I’ve seen the previews for the following eps. We’re having the reveal of Zhou Xu’s face so early.
Blazing Academy won against Shrek Academy? I was really looking forward to this competition arc and it got butchered. So many changes. Here’s to hoping the last few eps will make all these changes worthwhile.
So I cant access eps 18-23 even with vpn so i watched them raw on some site will tencent continue uploading from ep 23 or continue from ep 18?
Also i read the novel a long time ago and have forgotten most of it. Would someone help me pinpoint what chapter we’re in in the novel on show-phase? (ep 23)
In my understanding, everything in JS subconcious are all false, made by LZ as a ploy to take over the body. So…
dang! if you put it that way Liu Zhi planned everything so meticulously from the cases to the people who Jiang Shou would make relationships with but that makes what Jiang Shou said also true “these people are real” the sadness they felt when their loved ones died. So beautiful this series!
I feel so betrayed with that ending! Whoever has read the source material please share with us if it really has that modern setting twist. After the initial shock of watching the last ep I realized that the reason he sent Jiang Shou to his 3rd level of subconscious is so that he would have a chance to help him because it’s most likely that Liu Zhi will be the one waking up in the real world. The thing the confused me is after Qin Yi Heng died in the first subconsious and sent Jiang Shou to the 2nd it was already in the cemetery when he woke up meaning that everything that happened on the island with QYH and Ling never happened (anyone care to enlighten me) Thank youu. Overall just a great drama!
Just finished watching the latest ep raw. From the preview for the the next episode it seems that Wook really is the grandson. Arghh have to wait until tomorrow for the subbed ep. If anyone would like to confirm this. Pleaseee do so.
I found out about this drama from another vlog and have loved this show ever since. Eng subs are at ep 14 but i have watched the others raw. With my limited chinese, I didnt understand a thing but that reveal scene of Wanghua was so anticlimatic that its so good. (Confusing i know) I anticipated that this would have a season 2 when at ep 18 and still our ML is nowhere close to finding answers about his past. I hope we get another season because I would love to see our ML doing martial arts without the mask.
